    Good morning everbody! It's the middle of the week, so close yet so far to the weekend. This is how I am feeling about my journey at the moment. I seem to be taking 2 steps forward and 2 steps back with my weight loss. I had a great first week and now in my 3rd week the scale shows my weight increasing some days and then other days I just plateau. I am trying to convince myself I am gaining muscle from my weight training and toning exercises (fingers crossed!).

    So I am going to give myself the same advice I would give someone else - chill out and keep going.

      Hi FatActress. I am in Australia. I was bored at work and thought I would start off Wednesday's roll call. Sometimes it's a bit strange conversing with people over the other side of the world - I sometimes forget I am ahead in time. BTW - love your username. That t.v. show used to crack me up so much!

        Good morning everyone!

        I'm feeling very happy today; focused and confident. No movement on the scale (it's so painfully s-l-o-w) but my head is in the right spot. As many have said, it takes time. And just to feel in control is such a WIN. I will have some challenges over the next couple of days. Today I have an offsite meeting where lunch will be served...probably crappy sandwiches and chips. But I'm going to take some jicama, cheese and red pepper strips so that I can have something legal. Not EVEN going there with the sandwich/chip thing! Then Friday night, we're going to my niece's rehearsal dinner...italian food. And Saturday is the wedding. Think I'll be fine at the wedding, though. They're having a sit-down brunch with pork loin, beef, etc. But I'll get through it...I'm still committed to a cheat-free October and have gotten this far (too far to turn back now!!!)

        I hope everyone has a great and successful day. Evermind & Hopejoy...I hope things are calming down for you. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

          Good morning everyone! The leaves are changing and it's so beautiful outside. Love it! Now if only I could get back into walking. It gets dark so early now and don't we change our clocks this weekend? I think so.

          We had a visitor at work on Monday, so I dressed up. It's a tiny office and usually it's really casual, but Monday I wore my new slim black slacks, a more form fitting shirt and pumps. My boss whistled at me and my female coworkers yelled, "Woohoo!" LOL! They couldn't believe how much weight I lost. I assumed they knew, since I see them everyday, but I guess since they see me everyday they didn't notice. Not that I want my boss whistling at me, but it felt great!!

            Good Morning STACers!

            Yesterday was a great day! I had an unexpected day off so I got all kinds of things done and even got to go out to lunch with my friend. We went to Friendly's and I had a bacon cheeseburger (only cheese, bacon, mayo and lettuce) with Broccoli instead of fries. She ended up finding a hair in her Salad so they gave us free icecream! I of course was not going to eat it but hey it's free! So I got my husbands favorite and brought it home to him! I feel real good about that! Well I hope everyone has a Happy Hump Day!

              Good morning everyone.. Well today is my major clean house day.. I have about 30 people coming on friday for my daughters birthday..and of course its suppose to RAIN...UGH.. Try having 30 people up in a trailer...GRRR.. I do have an addition on my living room but its still not that big...

              I am down 2lbs from yesterday which makes me happy.. I have hit my 35lb mark

              I do have a wedding on Saturday..and I know what the food is going to be there.. Hubby is fixing the barbecue.. He is going to save me some without sauce.. I am going to carry a Salad with me...and put the barbecue on top.. I am fixing the deviled eggs so I know that is legal.. That is all that will be there that I can eat... But its okay.. Its an outdoor sort of wedding and I don't feel bad taking my own food.. I am getting use to it.

                Gm everyone I slept late this morning and its raining can I just spend the entire day in bed lol. Well my scale said 126 this morning so I am now only 1lb from my goal weight. I made that lc fried chicken OMG I have not enjoyed a dinner that much in a long time. I pounded some chicken breast out thin then I made a marinade from cream water egg and a bunch of spices put them in the fridge for 4 hours then dredged them in a mixture of soy flour and spices and deep fried them until golden brown put them in the oven on a broiler rack and baked for 10 minutes at 350. They came out crispy and tender. The chicken and ranch dipping sauce cost me a grand total of 8 net carbs. Not bad for a kfc craving busting substitiute. I am so going to make this more often next time I think I'll try adding a little hot sauce to the maranide.Well I better get my butt off the pc and try to go work out this morning. I hope everyone has a great day.

                yoyo Thats a great attitude are you losing inches? I gained a few pounds at first when I started weight training but I lost inches at the same time and my clothes fit alot better.

                  Yep time changes the 1st weekend in November..it is so freaking dark when I take Britt to the bus stop.. The other day I was trying to pin a Pink ribbon on her shirt for Breast Cancer Awareness Month and it was so dark we had to cut our cell phone and shine it on her shirt so we could see....Crazy huh!

                    Good Morning everyone!

                    Well I finally made it to the gym yesterday, 35 mins on the eliptical and the meter said I burned 350 calories.. dont know if I trust that or not. I have heard different opinions on the read outs.

                    Today I will get in 35 mins on the treadmill and alternate between both 4 times a week. Hopefully that will help jump start my metabolism.

                    Sheepie - I forgot that Day light savings was going to be later this year .. it 's frustrating since it's dark when I leave for work and dark when I come home .. lol.

                    LC Angel- That sounds like a great recipe ! I'll have to try it when I move off induction! I have been making a list of the recipes I want to try.. that is certainly one of them!

                    I need to find a recipe for induction friendly wraps or crepes .. to make chicken wraps out of .. anyone have a good one?

                      Good morning everyone! I made it through Day 1 of my TOM!! That is the worst day of the month for me.

                      I didn't lose any weight - but I didn't expect to.... I blow up like a balloon.

                      Oh well - 2 more days (luckily I only have it for 3 days)

                        Sandy 2 lbs is awesome! And you hit the 35 lb mark Yeah!!!! You getting your rewards for all your dedication and hard work!

                        Hugg you can do it! You'll find legal things to eat and feel so proud of yourself for making it through and eventually the weight loss will come too ask Sandy she knows!

                        Today is a gloomy yucky rainy day in Vermont but I'm in a great mood! I decided this moring I was going to get up and start trying a few excercises and see how my foot did. I popped on here first of course and found a new challenge that worked perfectly for me and that set my day on a great track! I'm excited to see a little weight coming off this week as well with the increased veggies! Yeah!!!!!!!!!!

                          We just had a glorious thunderstorm and I loved every second of it. I can still hear the rumblings of thunder but the sun has started to peek out.

                          I've been having a weird stomach thing since yesterday. Everytime I eat, my tummy starts to hurt. I went to bed last night in agony and woke up feeling alright. I just had breakfast and the pain is starting to increase. It's probably all my stress from hubby leaving this Friday. I wear it ok on the outside but I'm a wreck on the inside.

                            When I do my water aerobics at the Y the machine that I enter in to it says I burn 800+ calories.. I don't believe it either...lol
