    Good Morning STAC'ers- Happy Friday!

    I am 2 days into induction. I did okay yesterday. I tried to eat often and I drank a ton of water. I did weigh in at 200 today so I flushed out 2#. For breaky I had left over turkey & spinach casserole and a itallian sausage. I feel very satisfied and I no it will stay with me for awhile.

    Hubby is home for a 5 day weekend (OMG LOL). He is suppose to put in the floors down stairs (holding my breath)........ I have been waiting for like 2 weeks.......

    I will go to the Y today and have a light work out.

    Have a great day- eat plenty, drink plenty, and feel great!

      Jimmy - You're right - I should stay off the scale - it just keeps calling my name Maybe tomorrow, I'll see if I can resist the urge to hop on.

        Morning, all! I'm just back from a 1.5 mile run/shuffle, feeling good.

        We ran a mile yesterday a.m. and then hit the gym in the evening. There was a chiropracter there who was taking appts. so dd and I are going to see him on New Year's Day for a full workup. That car accident has taken us totally out of alignment - I knew it, could feel it, and am tired of waiting for it to go back to normal all by itself! lol.

        I also picked up more green veggies yesterday and had two big salads as well as my favorite grated cauliflower/red onion/zuchini/cheese melt/fry. Not to mention spaghetti squash. Really focussing on eating more green veggies - as I mentioned yesterday, I've not eaten anything illegal, or too much of anything, but I seem to have slacked off the green veg thing for awhile. Not any more.

        Interesting thing: I used to weigh several times a day, purely out of curiosity, never let the results bother me. Since my stall, I've completely changed. I weigh maybe 1 time a week, and have no urge. <shrug>

        I read an article yesterday that some medical scientists have done research and discovered that women who take a lot of vitamin c metabolize fat 35% more than women who don't. I think I'm going to start taking some, just to see. Can't hurt!

          Hi!
          Everyone sounds like they're getting back on track! yeah!
          Chica, about your roomba, the same thing happened to me... I was soooooo sad! Finally my husband took it apart and vacuumed out the parts and something was stuck we couldn't see and finally now it's working again. I got one last year! it was my favorite thing! I love that thing! Keep trying to fix it! You'll get it! it could be something as simple as a thread in the wheel...

          Okay, day 3 of inductions starts today.... I had a rough night sleep wise... I got up at 1am and took something for my migrain, 2 hours later I decide... 'darn it! why can't I sleep?' and then took an ambien! I hate when I can't sleep! so then over slept today and now am behind on everything...

          To finish my goal on the mileage I have to go 11 miles/day on the bike... and 2 miles/day walk/running... so that's one thing I'm working on.

          Did I mention the scale says I'm down 4.2 lb since wed? yeah! so relieved! Induction is going great!!!!! At our friends house yesterday they served build your own salads for dinner.... was that sweet or what? so good!

          Okay, gonna go face the day! have to work at 5pm tonight and then all weekend... got get cookiing some casseroles!

            So far I've eaten two eggs with a little fresh spinach in it.
            For lunch a small wedge of lettuce, small tomato, fresh turkey, and a little mayonnaise.
            I made my own coffee this morning with a tiny bit of cream.
            I'm feeling better already.
            I'm afraid to weigh myself...I'm afraid what the scale will tell me.
            What set me back was increasing my carbs by eating fresh Strawberries, blueberries etc. yum so good. I really enjoyed them but it got out of hand and then November came when everyone was cooking...not good.
            Also I've been walking everyday and so afraid the scale will go up due to muscle.
            ya know?
            But I'm going to stick to this and get this weight I've gained back gone and then move on till I reach my goal.

              Afternoon all! Happy B-day Karen!! Enjoy every day of 31. It's a good age.

              I'm doing well in my corner of cyberspace. I had a 4 pound woosh and am excited to be off to a blazing start after a long while away from losing anything. I ate green peppers last night raw and gave myself the worst heartburn!! I won't be doing that anytime soon again, lol.

                Well I feel like a dead slug is lieing in my stomach and its my own fault, because I ate pasta. I know I said I wasn't restarting induction till the 2nd, but im having second thoughts now, because I feell like cr*p.

                  Hi folks, thought i would pop in here. I am doing well. I worked out for an hour and 10 minutes yesterday. 40 minutes on the devil machine and 1/2 hour with my trainer. Tonight i am hoping to do the same, maybe kick it up a notch to an extra 10 minutes after training (did 20 before and 20 after).

                  I think i am doing okay on food, i tend to think i am doing something wrong because what i am eating tastes good lol (ya can't beat full fat food for taste) and trying to eat every 3 hours so i am always full. And of course trying to guzzle 135 oz of water a day is keeping me running to go peee lol. But i stick with a good concept with all of this running to pee and that is, i have two 16.9 fl oz bottles i keep filled, and i usually have to go when i get done with them both, if not, i won't go until i am finished with them both even if it means guzzling what's left while dancin lol. Then i drink 1/2 of one after. I have allowed myself 1 pop (diet coke) per day and yes, my water has sug free koolaid or chrystal light in it as i ween myself to drinking regular water. I think i am weird as regular water in major amounts (i.e. not small drinks) tends to make me nausious (sp?) and i won't drink water then. So we will see.

                  So other than that, i am on a roll, i have 4 days off to deep clean my house for the new year, and cook up a bunch of dishes and get things organized food wise for the next week.

                  Glad to hear those who are doing well, will keep those of you struggling in my thoughts.

                    Okay guys I am on my third day of induction, and must say that since I weighed myself that I have taken the battery out of my scale and threw it away! I will not buy another one until my two weeks are over! I am so addicted to that dam scale and this is the only way I will break myself! I need to do like jimmyolsenblues says and use a pair of pants-hey wait I have tons of clothes that are tight!!!-LOL.

                    Glenda that is too funny about your relatives!! I feel ya girl!

                    Well Happy Friday and keeping my mouth taped since it is the weekend and for some reason I am so weak when it hits Sat & Sun. But I have rid my house of junk food and am really trying to make my kids healthier food. Working on trying not to eat so much okra! I love fried okra with bacon! But I tend to eat too much!!
