    Good Morning Stacers!


    Woke up feeling good this AM...full of energy & hope! Then the weather came on...minus 5 degrees!

    Hope everyone has a wonderful cheat free day!

    Good Morning.. Cold here too...and the bus was late for my daughter...brrrr... I am still not feeling well.. I wanted to go to Water Aerobics but I think it would be best if I just stayed home... Did okay yesterday...until 8pm...and I got into my husband's Christmas Candy.. I cannot have Reese Peanut Butter cups here at all.... Today is a new day.

      Good morning, I feel good too, considering it's like 15 degrees here this morning in Atlanta. I am off to the gym and the treadmill. No jogging outside with my friend.
      Hey, why are you here? I am here to continue my journey. I don't ever want to go back. One of the best ways I have to keep from going back, is to keep moving forward. I've got low carb foods planned for the day, exercise will soon be done for the day and I hope to loose 5lbs this month. I am seeking a structured focused way of eating and living. That's why I am here...

          Good morning everyone!! Today my kids go back to school. Hubby and I decided we are going to go on a cruise in April. So I have to kick some butt, I do not want to go to some island feeling like a cow. I gained 7 pounds over the holidays!! Not to mention I feel like crap. But, I can't beat myself up over it now . I know what I have to do, and today is a new day! Have a great day!

            good morning everyone, I tried exercising at home last night because of the cold. I think I lasted a whole 5 minutes. I have to join the gym until we thaw out from the cold snap. I can't inline skate in this weather. Brrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!! (I hate exercising in the cold )

              Good morning! It's freezing here too. Sure glad we got that new furnace! I think I might be getting sick, a sinus infection. I hope the glob in my head doesn't weigh too much!! LOL! Off to put on my long undies and have a legal day.

                I guess this cold snap is effecting us all ............. it hovered at and around 3-5 degrees yesterday all day and this morning we had 0 with a wind chill of -16 too cold to do anything but stay home and stay warm. The kids have school today and so I do have to go out and drive them to school as I won't make them walk tot he bus and stand in this cold for that. Thank the Lord for my new treadmill so I can get in a good work out while staying warm!!!!! I finally got back to 179 this morning which is my official low it's all down hill from here!!!!! Yeah!!!!!!! Jess I am here to make my goal and maintain it ......... to feel healthy and strong and to know I am doing what I need to to secure for myself a healthy future!

                  Hey everyone!

                  Well I am back! I was MIA for a while and have put on a couple pounds. I had a couple lazy (and failed) attempts to get back on plan but I am here now. My life is back on it's regular schedule and I am geared to go. (Plus hubby is doing low carb too!) That will definately help me get through the tough time even if he doesn't stick with it! Well Glad to be back!!

                    Freezing here too! It was -.5 when I woke up, the windchills are supposed to reach -15 today. The kiddos and I are staying home today, poor DH is outside working all day.

                    Feeling good this morning, Day 6 on induction for me. No more headaches or anything, have lots of energy.

                      Morning everyone! I'm down a pound!! WOO HOO!! I think it's from my body saying thank you for not going back on induction I decided yesterday that after reading the section of the book that Jess pointed out that I would not go on full induction - just cut back on some stuff.

                      I woke up - weighed in and did my crunches, pushups, squats and arm exercises.

                      I made a good dinner last night - fried fish using unsweetened coconut as the coating - it was pretty good I made it into "fish filets" for the kids & DH and then had it plain for myself.

                      Ok - gotta go and do some chores outside in the freezing weather! Woo Hoo!!

                        Hey, I'm here also,
                        I made myself go to the gym last night. It is the first time in maybe 6 yrs. I did 40 min on treadmill and some lifting.

                          OMG!! I feel so bad you guys are freezing!! It was 70 and sunny yesterday, and we have all been complaining about the 'cold' snap we just got out of (temps in the 60's). Yikes, I would never make it in New England.

                          I did go for another 4 mile walk yesterday, it felt great! Induction still going well, not losing anymore but feeling better.

                            Hi Everyone...it is cold here too. I am feeling slightly less tired but I need a few more good nights of sleep to catch up. Scale is hovering close to 186 so I am hoping for a drop soon.

                              Yep, it's cold... even down here in southeast Louisiana. Brrrr... Lower 20's is brutal to us southerners. The thing about Louisiana, though... if you don't like the weather, stick around about 10 minutes... it will change. I wore short sleeve t-shirts to walk a couple of days ago, and it will be in the 70's by the weekend.

                              I find it hard to be disciplined enough to exercise at home, but I really have no choice, so I'm just going to have to dig deep to keep my momentum going. I'm trying a few new things... we'll see what sticks. My current new thing is jumping rope - wow, what a workout!

                              I need to tighten up a few bad habits with eating, and starting today, I am eliminating the natural almonds in my MUP that I have been having for the past 6 months. Up until this past month, the almonds weren't a problem. But, after gorging on nuts over the holidays, I've got a full blown monkey on my back, that I can't seem to shake by just cutting back on the nuts... they've got to go entirely, for at least a couple of weeks.

                              OK - everyone have a great, legal, exercise-including, Atkins day!
