    I love it when you talk about TIGHTENING UP THE FOOD THERE, MITZI... I also read someone was, LAZY WITH FOOD...I think I've been there recently...and that term is a good one...
    In goal setting mode, we are not lazy we are consistently agressive on a daily basis...tackling whatever it is we are trying to reach!

      Morning everyone! wow amazing how many states are in the cold snap the thermometre in the car showed -14f yesterday here too, and it doesn't seem much better today. apparently the temps will be up to the high 40's low 50's here by the end of the weekend (very warm for here)... global warming i assume .

      I heard even Florida got frost!

      Anyway, i've decided to join STAC for a while to get back on track. I've been on maintenance for a couple of years now...over Christmas I got fairly off track. Clothes still fit but their a bit tight, so I"m going to do indcution for a couple of days to detox, then eliminate a few foods (grains, nuts, starchy veggies) and up the exercise and hopefully get back to where i was.

      One thing i will not do is weigh, i've decided to go by measurements only...

          Hi All, Everyone sounds great today.
          Day 7 for me. Didn't weigh myself but I know I've lost weight.
          I'm in Florida and it went down to 27 degrees last night.
          Last Night Everyone was in one bed, dogs and cats. I had a sliver to sleep. so funny.
          right now it's 39. gorgeous out there. Sunny and cold.
          I love it.
          Another good Atkins day. I had scrambled eggs to start. I'm not cheating on this two weeks or until I get back down to where I was before November.

            Good Morning! Day 2 back on track for me. Doing good. I woke up twice last night from cramps in my calves. OMG! I have heard about them but never had them. Not fun. It is cold here to but will be in the 70's by the weekend.

              Good morning everyone. My first day on here, and 3rd day on induction. It's around 5F here in Sunny but cold Calgary. Fortunately I don't have to go out on business appointments till after 1:00. Just getting ready for breakfast, and then to work. I'll do my DVD home workout after dinner tonight. Evenings are the only time I can do them. Looking forward to another active cheatfree Atkins day!

                Weighed in at 113.5 today. Feel pretty good. It's cold here in Colorado also - but warmer today than yesterday
                Bought some supplements yesterday - CLA and a new multivitamin. I haven't been to Vitamin Cottage in a long time and it was nice - I like it a lot better than Whole Foods (total rip-off)
                Body pump class was fun last night - until I was called out because my 2 year old was crying like a crazy person in the kiddies area....
                13 year old has an ortho appt. this morn, then it's lunch and nappytime (for the 2 little guys) then hopefully, I'll make it to the gym

                  For leg cramps try a calcium supplement! It works wonders!!!!!! Make sure it has added Vitamin D for absorbtion!

                      Good morning everyone! Just checking in. I'm on Day 2 of Induction and so far so good. DH is doing it too, which makes it so much easier. I was down 2.4 lbs this morning. I know it's just water weight, but it sure keeps me motivated. I didn't take my measurements yesterday, so better go do that right now while I'm thinking about it!

                        Man, it is FREEZING here in northern Virginia. I had to wear a shirt, a knit sweater, my company coat, and a knitted hat! I'm inside and I'm STILL cold! I could go for some egg drop soup right now.

                          Hello to everyone with this wonderful cold season that is in full swing!!! Okay I weighed myself broke down and got a battery the anticipation and the thrill of seeing my scale move did me in!!! Drum roll please I started on induction 12/26-225.0 and so that was a Wed so I weighed myself this morning at 5 am I am at 219.4~!!!!! 5.6lb lost. Gotta question for anyone that can answer me, why is it that I weigh less like at 7 in the morning??? at 7 I weighed 218. hummm??? anyhow will post my other weight with inches lost after my two weeks which will land on 9th!!!

                            I just wanted to say, that you may need a calcium supplement. My sister is a nurse and whenever my Dad got cramps in his legs she insisted he start taking more calcium.

                                Morning! Day 2 of induction for me. Feel fine.

                                Yesterday dd and I signed up for a fitness assessment at the gym, so we're going to go do a one-hour thing with the trainers at 3. Should be interesting.

                                (Leg cramps? Potassium supplements. Work like a charm. Potassium and calcium even better......)

                                Today I'm focussing on drinking a ton of water. That, and going for a run in about 5 minutes!

                                I feel for y'all in the cold weather. Here in S. California, it's balmy, but I'm going to NYC next week, and I sure do hope the weather warms up a bit, because I want to be able to take long walks and even do some runs along the riverfront. Please, please, work on that, you guys!
