    Good Morning everyone, just getting ready for what looks like a wonderfully mild, and sunny day, and I'm feeling energized. Day 10 on induction, and I'm staying right on plan 100% and working out everyday. The momentum is great, and my determination to get into last years bathing suit is definately a strong motivation, that is keeping me focussed. Have a great day all!

      Oh my yes! Fresh cracklins are my fav! Hot and begging to be eaten LOL My dad brought me some just this Monday and I was able to snag some before the kids discovered them - we all love them. Guess I'm lucky being from the south! MMMMMMM now ya made me hungry for them again!

      Do you all know what chicharrones are (or pork scratchings, cracklings, etc) ? It is the fresh fat and skin of pork, deep fried until it's cooked all the way through. Oh my oh my, how decadent. It's like eating that soft part of the bacon that just melts in your mouth. Only, this is FRESH and has no nitrates or sugar or anything...I had a big piece last night. It was soooo yummy. Very different than the pork rinds you buy in the bags in the grocery.

        @colleen ~ I know when I work out too much my body holds water and I don't lose. The last time I took a week off from the treadmill I dropped five pounds.

          It's Thursday, which is both band practice and therapy day. Woo! I've got a huge goal to get to, my guitarist announced that on the 9th of next month, we have a Battle of the Bands! I wanna be super hot by then!!

            Hi All...

            I'm dashing off for a meeting here at work, but wanted to quickly check in first.
            Still struggling to keep on plan - I've said it a few times, but it's difficult without a stove! But my new cabinets were delivered this morning, they're being installed on Monday/Tuesday and the gas-guy is coming to hook up my stove next Thursday. One more week and I can have a yummy omlette for breakfast and scrumptious chicken for dinner!

            I'll check in again later...

              Good Evening Everyone.. I went to the Y today for my water aerobics class.. Its been a little bit calmer day...

              Congrats Scooter on your weight loss.. Colleen.. YES Try giving up the walnuts for a few days..or a week...and see if that works.. Or that SF Syrup you use..they could be the issue..or it could just be TOM.. You are so close to goal that I am a little bit worried that you are so stressed over a couple of pounds..your body is going to change every day.. Maybe you shouldn't weigh every day.... Go by how you feel.

                It's still morning...
                I was up early this morning after a late night at work... made quiche for the ladies group I go to on Thursday am's... my turn...I left work after midnight... crawled into bed at 1:15 after leaving a note for dh by the coffee machine to wake me up at 7:00.. he did... oh! it was hard to get up! So, I go and I kept drifting off!!!
                Anyways... back home again... and looking around my house I've been tidying up! What a mess! ack! I gave up having a house keeper a few years ago... being the cheap skate that I am.. and boy do I miss it! Everything needs a good deep cleaning again!!!! Think I'll turn on the tunes and do some cleaning aerobics... That friend of mines house was so beautifully decorated and perfect... but I'm not going to sink into jealousy or depression... I'm going to appreciate what I have and make the best of it and truthfully I really like having the money in my pocket and being able to splurge and buy a new outfit for myself... or whatever... so just not going there... I'm going to pretend for a few hours this is my job and I'm getting paid to clean... instead of puttering around getting nothing done... well... after I spend a few minutes here of course...


                On an up note... day 3 of induction... no cheats so far... no eating of any quiche for me... I ate scrambled eggs at home and brought my own cup of decaf coffee! he he!
                and I'm really looking forward to meeting Evermind today! yeah! We're bringing the cameras.... so IF we get good piccs... we'll post some... we'll see! And I'm looking forward to water aerobics class again! been walking again everyday this week... and I decided to sign up for a ball room dance class as dance is supposed to be good for migraines.... so that starts in Feb... ( have to remember to tell dh that he's going... he he!)

                Anyways... yup 5pm... date with Evermind... whoo hooo!

                    Good Afternoon STAC'ers,

                    I am doing ok today. I definatley am getting PMS so I am going to stay away from the scale for awhile. I am still bloated and I can't wait for my body to cut loose of the fuild. I can feel it in my joints. I wonder if this is from the medication that I am taking????

                    It has been snowing non stop since yesterday at noon- we keep shoveling the stuff and it keeps on coming......

                      Still on track here, was going to add back some of my owl foods on the weekend but thinking i'm going to hold off. I'm actually enjoying the foods i'm having now. I have not weighed myself since i followed the Russell Stover Diet over the holidays but i have measured. Have some TOM bloat going on so i won't weigh until then.

                      Oh i did have 4 vodkas last night, which wasn't very smart, or very induction like and just made me feel like crap this morning
