  • I'm Back!

Hey all, I went off Atkins Induction at the begining of November, you know the pressure of the Holidays and stuff. I just gave in. Real reason... I just wanted to eat Turkey and Stuffing. Besides I had lost 70lbs and was so sure that it would take me a long time to gain it back. Big mistake dudes! I gained back 25lbs over the course of two months. When I saw that it was coming back and my new clothes were getting tighter, I knew come January I would have to restart the Induction and stick it until I could go on to phase two. Well I restarted Induction on January 6th. Since then, I weighed myself this morning. On Jan. 6th I started at 325lbs Today Jan. 19, I am 305lbs Honestly.... no lie! But I must confess I have been hitting the tredmil and taking my dog for walks everyday. Anyway I feel much better now! My clothes are fitting me perfect now. Sorry I have been away, I will try to keep you guys posted on my life and adventures in Low Carb eating. It has not been easy though. These past two weeks I have been having some serious powerful cravings for junk food and sweets but I have not given in. Today the scale encouraged me. I know I am on the right track. I don't see myself cheating. I would like to be able to go to phase two by May. Anyway, take care all

Welcome Back, as you know this is a WOL. Good job with getting back to it.

        What I know:
        1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.
