    My name is Heather... and I am ready to start back on Atkins again. I was on Atkins after my second child and lost about 75... only to gain most of it back. Today's weight 205 lowest ever 142... so that's about the goal I guess.I have a wedding at the end of June and I'd like to be down about 30... but that's probably unreasonable. Especially when I hear that the weight comes of much slower the second time around.

    I would be interested in a diet buddy... someone to chat with daily about progess etc. email me if you want... heatherjoyrider@yahoo.com

      Morning all. Nothing new to report weight wise. It's been so cold going out for walks has also been a no can do. Keeping up with my water. Overdid it last night on the salt so retaining water today. Hoping to flush it away today. I could not sleep at all last night. i too suffer from thinking too much once my head hits the pillow but i am going to try reading before bed...something to decompress.

        Good morning, everybody!

        Today is going to be another on plan day in just a long long long string of many. Planning on going out this afternoon for a short, comfortable run.

        TOM is here too. I'm up about 4 lbs.

          Pleeeease save me from myself! This weekend was spent trying to say no to food that I know was bad, and eating it to spare the feelings of friends and family. Thank GOODNESS my birthday is over. I hate cheating like that, and now I feel like I have to start all over again. Had a good day so far, and my therapist gave me some advice on what to tell people when I don't want to cheat. I've learned that my happiness is really dependant on how I eat throughout the day, and that guilt adds to my depression. So junk food really IS poison, even if it's not for the right reasons.

            It's a brisk morning today, and I'm happy I don't have to go out till afternoon, at least it will have warmed up a bit by then. I moved onto Ramp it Up in the Slim & 6 excercise series, and I must say, this morning I am a bit stiff. I'm gonna have to walk it off. Have a great day everyone!

              Went to 24 hour fitness and did a total of an hour of cardio on 3 different machines! woohoo! would love to walk the dog but it is 4 degrees here with a negative wind chill. Sun is bright, so maybe by this afternoon it would be doable.

              Glad to be among you all, it is inspiring to see everybody practicing this WOE. (WOL)

                Morning all

                Sheepie--It's great that you're taking belly dancing classes again! A good friend of mine has convinced me to go to hers--we'll see how it goes this Sunday.

                Grats to everybody on keeping up with their exercise...It's raining in LA today (crazy!) so I'm not sure if I'll be able to get my run in, but if not it'll be Billy Blanks for me tonight.

                Take care of yourselves today, especially in the cold/wet/nasty weather that seems to be going around!

                  So here we are Evermind and me... on our hike Sunday... we had fun, see what I mean, how beautiful it was, and how much fun we had?

                  Hey, would you please say a prayer for me today, I'm going to a Neurologist for my migraines and the results of my MRI... kinda scared.... and nervous.... pray for wisdom and direction for the doctors. okay? thanks.

                      Mornin folks!

                      Day 4 started off rough, early call, rushed out of the house so no time to pack a good lunch, I just threw a bunch of stuff in my bag as quick as I could!

                      Turns out I did ok... couple of cups of baby spinich, tbone steak I cooked last night, cup of broccoli, 2 hard boiled eggs, 2 cheese sticks. That should get me through to dinner well enough

                            Well Im checkin in for the first time..I lost 100 lbs 2 years ago and have gained 40 back..Im trying to get ahold of it now before it gets out of hand..Glad to back..Yesterday was the first day and today big headache..Oh well at least I know what to expect..Have a great day everyone!!!
