        Morning fellow STACers!

        I am dragging a bit this morning; did my workout late last night and then couldn't sleep for hours . Quick breakfast of a mock danish and a tuna muffin snack should help keep me going though. The sun has decided to revisit SoCal, which is a welcome change after so many days of rain in a row .

          wow.....sickies, crummy weather....yuck! but hey, you guys are all here today! i am pretty excited...no real progress to report but yesterday i went back to the gym. i had been working out at home with my college age son but he went back to san diego so...i am hitting the gym after work again on the days i don't have any other appts. and using the home equipment when i don't (is this a run-on sentence????)

          anyway...i was so jazzed i did an ENTIRE HOUR of cardio...looked like a drowned rat when i was done but felt like a million bucks....i am heading back today after school.

            Good Morning guys,
            I went to an Israeli dance class last night... dancing is supposed to help Migraines. and I think it helped... for a while anyways. I was sweating at the end quite a bit, but it causes no stain on my neck and it's fun... I missed Evermind though! I also met some people that do English Country Dancing... ya know, like in Pride and Prejudice... they do Balls once a year and meet every Sunday nights... I got a flyer for that too... my dh thinks I'm missing a noodle thinking I'm going to drag him to all these things... There were only 2 men in the class! The other lady whose husband came, came up to me and said " make sure you keep bringing your husband!" ha! It was really fun though! I'm glad we went.

            Well, I'm off to see the neurologist again today. yuck. about my neck this time... it's worse since starting PT... maybe a slipped disc? I don't know, but of course he won't order an MRI without seeing me.. and I want one... so here I go.

            Eating veggies for breakfast, going to grab some cheese and a bite of chicken before I leave. My boss just called and asked me to work tonight.... temping at time and a half.... ?

              GOOD MORNING TO EVERYONE. I am feeling great and do not plan to cheat anytime soon. I am working, get home after six, and cannot find time to workout. I am a mother of three children one of who is four mths and requires a lot of my time.

              Anyone has any tips on how I can work in some exercise? I would greatly appreciate the advice.

                Brenda - when my ds was young and I was commuting, I used cleaning to get my exercise. It had to be done anyway, so I changed the way I did it slightly. For instance, when I vacuumed, I would do lunges while pushing. There used to be a challenge for this kind of thing, but not sure if there is one now.

                  Hi all. I am not feeling well at all. I have a cold sore blooming and sore throat that is swollen half shut. I was looking for some simple soup at the store but found nothing so i bought a roasted chicken and some chicken broth and will make my own.

                    Morning STAC'rs!

                    I feel like a MILLION BUCKS today! Granted, I slept in and missed the gym this morning, but I'm going after work, so that's all good I guess I needed the extra sleep. Atkins ENERGY is kicking in now, I feel awesome.

                    spirittalker: Good for you, staying strong and doing it right when we're down or sick is so hard, so often we see people slip or even fall off completely because of being ill, good for you!

                    brenda: Make the choice, make time, find time. I understand the demands of children, but even if it's 'play running' with the little ones, or running up and down stairs in your house for 5 minutes(if you have them) or doing 10 crunches on the floor once and hour, any of that is better than nothing at all. Personally I've set a goal to be up at 5 and to the gym in the mornings, because there's no way with an active 3 year old and a 5 month pregnant wife at home that I can do it in the evenings.

                      Hi All! Just getting ready to venture out in the blistering cold, to run my business appointments for the day. It's around -40 degrees with the wind chill factor. I hope my car starts! Woke up this morning to TOM. I hope this menopause thing works faster, as I don't want to worry about TOM anymore. It is sporatic now, but still there. I actually went for 4 months without it, but this time around, it was only 1 month Anyways, off to make some money now! Have a good one!

                        I did REALLY badly today. I ate an entire box (five!) of atkins bars. Talk about one leading to craving all the rest! I feel gross and bloated and gassy now. And even worse is that I am not exercising today like I should be because I am so gassy and that wouldn't be good for anybody! Sigh. I'll be better tomorrow.

                          AP-you need to kick in the water drinking right now. And a lot of it. Come to the board for support when you are in binge mode. Phone a friend, get some exercise, eat a high fat snack. But for now you are gonna need to flush all that nastiness out so get to drinking

                            Thank you, I'm working on it. I've been drinking water like crazy! It's ridiculous those bars because I eat them and think "well, at least it's not a snickers!" but I still feel terrible from them! At least now they are out of the house! Thanks for the support!

                              I'm Here! I'm Here! And I"m still going strong yeah meeee! Not sure how much I have lost.. the funeral stuff didn't allow me to drink as much water as I would have liked.. but I'm back to normal living and drinking again. I sure feel much smaller Weigh-in is on friday, so we shall see.

                                One of the real problems I had last time doing atkins was bars and other 'products' like that. I've found for me this time cutting them out altogether has been so much better. There's enough great stuff to eat without needing to put something in my body that I can't pronounce the ingredients of.
