    Storms? I hate to watch the news but maybe I should check the weather...

    I'm off to make lunch for my pre-planned day.
    I've noticed if I try to plan a week in advance I fail. But, one day at a time (right Mitzi?) is the way to go

    So here I go.

    AND SOME OTHER AWESOME NEWS!!!

    The other day at GMC they were getting rid of their Atkins 4-pack shakes, which are normally $7.95, and they were on sale for $2!!! Guess who bought all of em... lol

    AND!!!

    Yesterday I went back to the thrift store where I saw the exercise bike for $10 to see if maybe they had a new one... AND they did - for $7.95!!! and A stairclimber machine for $5.95!!! So I will definitely be getting my exercise in

      Wow! Just Glenda and me so far? Hope everyone is okay. I know there has been lots of crazy weather overnight.

      It's very windy, here, but, thankfully, no severe weather at the moment. The wind blew my van door and it knocked me into the front seat when trying to get my teacher's bag out!

      Today is my long day of the week. Teach until 2:45, race my son home, then jet to class until 9:30. Packed good stuff to eat, so no worries there.

            Morning, all.

            Plsm - SHAKES? Are you NUTS? You've been down this road before...........FULL of sugar alcohols. Guaranteed to make you cheat.

            Well, the scale says 201, which is 4 lbs over my weight last week, and guess who's coming? TOM, that's who! But when? When? WHEN? Ya KNOW it's all water retention, you can feel it, chugging bottles of h2o doesn't cause a whoosh, and so, there you are. Sheesh!

            Yesterday was my looooong weekday, and I survived it fine. Slept good, and today is a half day of teaching plus staff development, then off to the gym for a good, long workout. Looking forward to all of it. I think Jr. Achievement is coming to my school today, so they will handle all of the classroom education and I get to participate with the kids. Love that every now and again.

            So, I'm off to get ready. Let's make today a day when we can do something nice for a complete stranger.

              It's another super cold day here. But I was able to get a good nights sleep and I am inching ever close to being in the 170's. Hopefully I'll reach it by the weekend!

                I'm here and all in one piece....we were struck by the storms here in SW IN yesterday. We just had a few branches out of our big old tree and lost power for a short bit. We fared much better than some. A mobile home about 10 miles away was demolished and both residents killed-an 83 yr old woman and her adult 57 yr old daughter. They're trying to determine if it was a tornado or straight line winds. The temp dropped 30 degrees in less than an hour-@5:25 it was 59 and at 6pm it was 29!!!!!!!!!!! Weird weather..

                I did get about 40 mins in on my recumbent, had to break it up into 2-20 min sessions. Can't believe how out of shape I am! I'll get there though! Going to do a fitness test this a.m. while my pre-schooler is at school. Water and food was good yesterday. I'm still having a hard time eating-just not hungry. My blood sugars are SOOO good! I'm so pleased!

                I don't think I've ever made pepper steak before, but my fridge went down yesterday-had a frozen drain tube so I spent a lot of time cleaning and defrosting to clean the plug out of it so I played easy and just browned a round steak with some EVO and steak seasoning, then poured a bag of pepper strips on top and popped it in the oven for the afternoon while I was taking care of the fridge and it was SOOOO good! I'll have to remember that one-easy and yummy!

                I got my 2nd DANDR book, I've been waiting for from paperbackswap.com finally so now I have 2-one for work and one for home. Of course as soon as I went and bought one, it finally came!

                  i am here and on plan. i made a crustless quiche and a casserole from lindas site yesterday so that is going to leave me with leftovers for a while. i feel ill and i slept as late as i could, but i still feel like i could use 4-5 more hours. I will be drinking a lot of water and tea. TOM is coming soon and i feel a lil bloated too. So hopefully in a week or so i will have a nice whooshie and finally get to that 165 i covet so much

                    Hey all!

                    Well it's back to work today--yesterday school was cancelled due to the extreme weather. Overnight it was -60 (with the wind chill, actual temp was -35) and during the day it was -50 with wind chill, and so they decided to cancel school, which was a good idea!

                    I spent my day at the gym, doing laundry, getting a flat tire repaired, and just generally vegging out. It was nice! I was really hungry yesterday, the only thing I can think to cause it was working out first thing in the morning and the fact that it was sooooo cold, my body had to work extra hard to keep my core temperature at 98.6 degrees. (Even with the heat on, it's hard to keep a house warm when it's -50!)

                    Today I have a full day of teaching, math tutoring, then it's off to the gym for running or stationary bike.

                      I'm keeping my meals light and simple today. Its part of my "fixing-where-I-fell-off-of-the-atkins-wagon" plan. Two boiled eggs for breakfast, tuna and mayo for lunch, stir-fried cajun style chicken in a salad covered in shredded cheese for dinner, and then the new lemonade slushie that I modified from a recipe from the snack forum as an after dinner desert. I can tell that I've reversed most of the damage from those doughnuts, but geez, its so bad how I had one day of pleasure and its taken me about four days just to feel somewhat normal. I always retain a ton of water after cheating and it takes days to get it off. Anyhow, have a great and legal day everyone!!

                        Morning all! Got in a killer workout last night, it was the first time I've ever really done HIIT during a workout, and man, did it kick my butt! (High Intensity Interval Training) It was a good buttkicking tho. I got another 30 minutes to sit in the steam room and jacuzzi, and that was a little slice of heaven

                          Good morning everyone.
                          Brrrr, it's cold here. Wind chill was -6F this morning and it was much lower during wind gusts. It just seems wrong to need long underwear and layers when you have a desk job.
                          Well, I was 197 this morning and I expect TOM any day now, so I'm really hoping for a nice whoosh next week. A girl can hope, can't she?

                            Hey everyone! All that cold weather talk.. brrrr.. I'm glad I'm down South!

                            I stepped on the scale and have lost 13 pounds! Wow! I've been so busy lately that I have been forgetting to weigh and forgot what my starting weight was LOL Going down and loving it! I went shopping over the weekend and got lots of skirts ME? SKIRTS?? yes! And I must say.. I'm looking cute and "normal" in them. No huge gut poking out Even my sister said I looked cute. So that is a good sign.

                            This morning it was mock danish and raspberry tea. I love to pamper myself MMM About to go dig around and see what to cook for supper. Gotta love this way of eating.

                            I've rambled long enough. Time to get shaking!

                              Woo! It was cold this morning, but I woke up and weighed myself and found that I was a pound lighter! Not adding it to my sig until I'm absolutely sure that it stays gone for a few days.. but any hoo, the best part was that my ripped jeans were super loose this morning! I'm so happy! I get to buy new clothes for my next show on the 9th!
