    Gooood Morning!!

    I'm up early today, my little brother spent the night last night and I was excited to play with the puppy

    I'm looking forward to a productive legal day I wish you all the same!

    Good morning everyone. Today feels like a good day. I'm feeling 100% better and got some good sleep. In case you don't know because I didn't mention, I work 6am-3pm (commute 25 miles one way), but never am able to get to bed before midnight usually. Last night I was in bed by 9:20 pm WOO HOO! It felt sooo good.

    I will have somewhat of an after-work life as soon as I am done with my last 2 classes. I have Strategic Management and Strategic Human Resouces. They are my final 2 classes for my Bachelor's in Management with HR specialty. The last day of classes is March 24 and I graduate April 27!!!

      Good morning, I am slowly coming back from this flu thingy...I too am on the puppy brigade! Goodness it's alot of work and time.

        Morning everyone! I'm here - and have pilates class this morning. I'm excited as it has been 2 weeks since I was at the class and I like it Kids have PE.... I get my class.

        I have no hot water in my bed room - but that guy is coming out later today to check it out. Apparently the heater is causing the breaker to flip. Luckily our bedroom is "self contained" and the rest of the house has hot water so showers are doable

        I'm just back to where I started on weight last week...... so though I start baking probably later today for this weekend - I won't be making anything sugar free!! Nothing that I can have - that way I can actually continue to go DOWN in weight

          Good morning, all. Feeling yucky this am. But there are like 4 viruses going around the school, so who knows which one I may have. Weather is supposed really severe today, so careful to all who are in it - and hope all our friends in the midwest are safe.

            I guess I'm not the only one with a puppy to clean up after. My mom gave us one of her pekingese puppies for Christmas. Cute as pie, but not very bright. We love her all the same though. She buddied up with one of our cats and they're quite entertaining in the evenings while bouncing around and attacking eachother. Anyways, I think I found my WILLPOWER!! Seriously though, it feels different. I think I actually got ahold of myself and my eating habits now. I FEEL my self control. I know, I'm weird and I probably make no sense at all. I just can't explain it. Something clicked and it feels exactly like it did when I was able to stick with it and be successful.

              Morning!

              Sher, congrats on almost getting your degree - that's fabulous! I'm working on a masters in education, and it's quite a push this semester, too. Won't we be totally psyched when it's over!

              Beanpole - glad you found the willpower. Mine is often hiding under the sofa, playing with the dustbunnies. <grin>

              Chic - good plan. No cookies. Isn't it sad how one binge will reverberate in your body for DAYS and DAYS?

              As for me, I woke up with loose rings and a really much looser bracelet. My dh told me yesterday that I look MUCH skinnier. So did my dd. I feel it.

              And yet, the scale says 201. Which is really STUPID. Given that I've lost 15 inches and stuff is loose. And that TOM is almost gone. Dumb scale. I pay it no mind. It's a brainless entity.

              So today is a long day for me because we have a really stupid staff development until 4 after a half day of teaching. When I say stupid staff development, I mean that we all get together and surf the internet on our laptops because we are utterly bored with what the presenter is saying - especially since the first time she came she asserted that she really doesn't know a lot about how to teach writing, which is the subject of our staff development.

              Sheesh! Ah, well, it'll be over by 4. Then I'm off to the gym for a workout with dd, followed by a relaxed but short evening with dh before we crash at 8-ish.

              Anyone else have a four day weekend in another week? I do, and I'm so excited!

                I hope you are all happy with your puppies! You are making me want one though!

                Way to go Beanpole! You don't sound weird and you make sense! I know what you mean completely!

                I'm doing ok today, I was discouraged after my chicken nugget debacle two days ago but I'm feeling better now. It is tempting when you have already eaten too many carbs to just go all out and eat all the carbs you want! I'm feeling proud of myself for sticking with it and I just had the tastiest salad for lunch instead of what would have been empty, gross carbs!

                    I haven't weighed myself in so long i couldn't tell you the last time i did! it's been months. I did measurea t the beginning of the month though...and i'm going to go by those numbers. I think i might measure every other month now that i'm exercising again. The biggest thing for me was taking the scale out of the bathroom, out of sight, out of mind. Seeing the wrong number on that scale in the morning would be the difference between a good and bad day, and affect my mood drastically..I just didn't think it was healthy.

                      Good morning all! Brrrrrrrrrrrrr....it is cold here today. Supposed to warm up to the mid 50's though. I am quite ready for summer.
                      Way to go with getting the degree, Sher! That is the greatest feeling. Got my Masters in Dec. It was a grueling 2 years. Whch is one reason I am back here. Gained new degree and a lot of weight back.
                      I agree with you about the scale thing, Sadie. It has a tendency to dictate my mood as well. My SO weighs every morning. Says it holds them accountable and keeps them on track. To each their own I guess.

                        HAHA - The people at work are asking around what everyone is giving up for Lent...I said, hmmmm Ice Cream, cookies, candy, muffins, bagels, and pop. The few that know I started back on Atkins said thats not fair you already gave it up... Dang it, now I have to think of something real to sacrifice.

                          Morning all. I weigh every morning and yes to a degree it dictates my moods. But it also reminds me that i have work to do. Today the scale says 166.8, so all that water weight is almost gone. I am hoping the downward trend continues. Beanpole, my willpower is good too. I call that willpower full blown ketosis Food is a necessity, a fuel. Food is wonderful and i take my time and enjoy it but i don't crave it. I was analyzing a lot of my behaviors surrounding food and i realized that stopping for ice cream wasn't about the ice cream. It was about the special time spent as a family. The ice cream isn't what made it fun, it was the stop and time together that made it a special treat. I am trying to make time for stops now that don't necessarily revolve around food. Anyone have any ideas?

                              Spirit--do you mean with your family? How about something that involves exercise? Play a game of soccer, go for a walk, go for a hike, take a long bike ride, play freeze tag (a personal favorite of mine!), have a jump-roping contest, whatever! Something that you can do as a group and something that everyone will enjoy.

                              Still feeling gross today! Cheri, I think I've also got some nasty virus, many of which are going around the school. But at least it's WARM today--it was 29 degrees, I didn't even wear a winter coat! I feel like it's almost time for shorts.
