    Re: Roll Call 2/12

    Morning all!

Super sore from Yoga yesterday - but going to the gym this morning to run. I haven't been running as much as I would like lately - got a little burned out, I think. I still don't feel 100%, but figure after my workout, I'll lounge around in the steam room for a while.

I'm seriously reconsidering my tummy tuck and lipo. I mean, who am I trying to impress? Of course I hate my nekkid bod, but I don't know if it's all worth looking glam in a bikini. I think the fact that I'm not 100% on board with it, means something. I have been going back and forth since Friday. I don't think I want to do it.

Other than that - a whole lotta nothin going on!

Hope you guys have a great day!

I think the gray weather makes me convinced all I should do is stay in, under a blankie, and watch movies. LOL. Doesn't help that exercise goal!

I hear ya on the weather! It's snowy here, but at least it's sunny. And it's quite mild, in the low teens, as opposed to the below zero weather we'd been having for a couple of weeks.

I'm feeling a little better today (yesterday I was dragging! Not sure if it's candida or just TOM), more energy, thinner, NO CRAVINGS, hallelujah! I had a nice big bowl of pumpkin with butter and cinnamon for breakfast, and now I'm drinking water like there's no tomorrow.

Tonight I'm going to the gym after school, going to do lower body strength training and ride the bike for a bit. I'm also looking forward to lounging on the couch after a good workout and a nice hot shower. Oohhhh why can't it be 7pm already?

            Have a great day, STACers!

hey hey! good morning everyone! Wow! It's a gorgeous day today, going to get out there and walk early. Then have stuff to do 'out'... debating whether or not to go to a customer service committee meeting tonight at soup plantation. I should go, but I don't wanna... we'll see. I woke up to the phone and the nurse educator asking to switch my schedule around... that got me out of bed in a hurry.... 'NO!'

I love seeing the new pictures of Party trouble and Sheepie... very cute!

I had a good time at my dance class last night... now he wants us to perform at a cultural event in April... ha! Well, it's fun anyways and we laughed alot.

okay, the day awaits... gotta get to it. Have a good legal one everyone!!!!

If this was something you longed for and wanted.. you earned it! Impress?? Nobody! But feeling good about yourself is such a great feeling!! If this helps you.. then so be it!! I think it's natural to have these feelings

If you're not sure, I would wait. It's easy for people to say they want a tummy tuck, but as you know, it's not such a simple thing. It's major surgery. There's a risk and you have young children. I bet you look better than you think if your high weight is right in your sig. I consider my stretch marks to be badges of honor, so they don't bother me at all, but if I end up with really hanging, flabby skin, well, then I might it consider it. Wait and think about it. You can always change your mind, right?

Missed my checkin yesterday, almost forgot about today! We're in the middle of a 3 week project that requires 24/7 support and it's stressing me out.

Weird thing(and good thing) is that I'm not having any cravings at all, which I'm really happy for.

I feel pretty good today, some clothes I bought about a month ago suddenly fit SOOO much better, especially when I'm sitting down.

                          Re: Roll Call 2/12

I'm with Sheepie on the tummy tuck.... personally I'd spend the money on laser hair removal (I am SOOOO sick of shaving!! - LOL) But as much as they call it "minor" mistakes, errors, and such happen and I don't think it would be worth it.

Did you just start doing yoga classes? What about Pilates? I see a difference from taking those type of classes in the way my stomach "sits" if that makes sense. It has to do with the muscles UNDER those that everyone sees. You can work those abs every day but change it up and do different things. At your height and weight it might take a little bit but you know - that extra stretched skin didn't get there over night

Any hesitation - then wait on getting it done.

Switching topics.... has anyone here taken a cycling class before? I'm thinking it will be easier on my knees and what they say you can/will burn is incredible and I believe I need to go somewhere for my cardio stuff.

                            Morning STACers!

Woke up late this morning and had to rush to get ready and eat before an equally rushed/busy day at work! Gonna have to get commissary lunch again today, since I'll be chomping down at my desk. Looking forward to hitting the gym tonight, especially since I bought a size 8 (curvy) jeans last night, which are a bit tight, but fit!!

Hope everyone has a great day, remember to take care of yourselves.

YES! I've done spin classes - they're a lot of fun. The seat will really hurt your butt though. My class is on Mondays, my bootie (tailbone) still hurts on Thursday. I've thought about buying a seat to take with me and put it on the not so nice seat, but haven't done it yet. You really do work up a great sweat! I do have to say though, that the only time I've had knee problems is when I spin - as soon as I get off the bike, my left knee is fine.

Thanks for your thoughts on the Tummy tuck issue I'm going to wait. It doesn't feel like the right thing to do right now. So I'll keep working out and firming things up I felt like a boob canceling my appt.

Sheepie - I have the hangy skin, but I'll just keep tucking it in my pants (eewww ) and live with it! I'm just afraid I would be the one to have something happen, either during the surgery or after. I can always re-think the idea farther down the line...

Dana - I love both yoga and pilates - I've been doing them for a little over 6 months now and really enjoy them both. There is a class I take called fusion, which is the combo of the two - really fabulous. Hot yoga is fab too - if you have a place in your area that has it - GO! I love it!

                                Thanks again!!
