    Good morning. I hope everybody is good. I am slammed with things. Been eating good, but not exercising due to working right now. Today I will go to the gym and work out!

      Morning all!

      I felt so successful yesterday evening! I made a modified White Castle Hamburger Pie thing from Linda's site for dinner. DBF loved it and my little picky eaters actually cleaned their plates! I couldn't believe it! I had to give myself a pat on the back when DBF gave me the thumbs-up! The best part was that I was able to eat dinner with them instead of cooking something else for myself. I never minded cooking, but I didn't really enjoy it until I came to this WOE. I love finding new recipes and having them turn out great and to be able to eat the food too!!

        Good morning everyone (or good afternoon if you're here in the UK!)

        I am on day two of induction and it's going well. I am enjoying the food and last night made a list of all my favourite meal choices so that I don't end up eating the same thing over and over.

        I have a horrible cold/cough so don't think I will notice induction flu this time! Unfortunately, it means I can't exercise at the moment but hope to be able to start that on Monday.

        The hamburger pie sounds scrummy. Could someone give me the link to Linda's site?

          Woke up with a headache this morning but I'm ok. I think since I went to bed to late (around midnight) that is the reason.

          Oh well - gotta run out and do a couple of things. Expecting ice tonight and I am NOT happy about that.

            Good morning/afternoon, all. I have a question: I'm in ketposis this morning (yay), but feel very light-headed. I had to quickly get out of the shower b/c I truly was about to pass out. I can't stand for more than a few momemts without feeling woozy. I also have a sinus infection, but have been on antibiotics for 2 days, which normally would make me much improved.

            I've never experienced induction flu -- could this be it for me? I've heard a lot of symptoms around here, but not almost passing out. But detox combined with already being sick probably doesn't help. Thoughts?

            Good news is that the scale is down to 200, but I'm guessing it will come back up a little when I start eating more regularly again. This bug has killed my appetite.

              Well, good morning.

              I did NOT want to wake up this morning. Went to bed early as usual, but apparently my body desires more than 7 hours, so it's complaining! However, I've got a cup of coffee here, fortified with splenda and cocoa powder as a treat, so maybe that will jump-start me.

              I've got lunches packed, did a grocery yesterday so we have plenty of stuff for dinners (I cook separately for myself since dh and dd eat at different times due to work schedules and also aren't doing Atkins).

              I think it's during the busy times that I appreciate the routine of this woe the most. It's really not taking any thought at all to pack a lunch of chopped cucumber with blue cheese dressing, some zuchini with cheese, and a couple of devilled eggs. I spend more time figuring out what to pack for dd and dh. It is no biggie at all when I get home to have a salad or to nuke a half of a spaghetti squash for a snack (with butter and walnuts). I've noticed that when I'm starving, just one small serving satisfies me completely, if it has fat in it. It used to be that if I came home hungry, I'd have to eat a variety of carby things to get to the point of satisfaction.
              This is ever so much easier.

              The same goes for exercise. It's automatic, but on days when I don't feel good, or am taking a rest day, I am comfortable not working out or just taking a short walk. No guilt. No feeling that I'm supposed to be doing something. It's all a routine.

              What could be better than this? Nothing, I tell ya, nothing!

                good morning. day 1 officially on STAC for me! i am so excited. sounds silly, huh? i told adena i am tired of saying " i gotta tighten things up" blah blah blah.....so i am committing to being a second time arounder and finishing this job up!!!! i wanted to be 140 by my birthday in april. that won't happen but....i have a goal and i will get there. this is a great place for me to be....once it is written in black and white, no backing down. now can anyone tell me how to do a cheat free day tracker on my siggy? good day friends!

                  Good morning everyone! It'll be a rainy day in Atlanta today. I don't really care because I'm leaving for the beach tonight. I'm down 18 pounds "GONE FOREVER"! I am soooo looking forward to a break. I'm feeling pretty good today. I spent 2 hours cooking last night. I make a pretty good mac-n-cheese for the kids so I made a larger batch so my parents can enjoy when they are staying with the kids. Today I'll have boneless, skinless chicken strips cooked in olive oil with peppers and cucumbers. I have shrimp too. Should be a good lunch. I brought enough in to share with a co-worker who is also doing Atkins. She's down 8! I'm so proud of her.

                  Anyway, I'm 12 pounds from my first goal and I have 31 days to do it. I've already scheduled a regular walking buddy for two nights a week (minimun of 1.5 hours) and I'll be hitting the YMCS at least three nights beginning next week plus walking almost 5 days a week during lunch. I've got to step it up now.

                  I'm going to do my best to enjoy this weekend. Hope everyone has a super fantastic day!

                    Adena: Light-headedness and "foggy brain" are often signs of Induction Flu, but I would check out those forums as they may have some really good advice on how to combat it. I also noticed when I make sure to eat all my veggie carbs and keep my diet around 65% fat, that it goes away. It somewhat puts me back on solid footing. But check there as well! =)

                    Morning everyone else! I woke up 10 minutes before I needed to leave.. so my big plans of cooking this morning has turned into a random mix of meals.. I'll make up for it at dinner! ;-) Breakfast is sliced roast beef and a cheese wedge, lunch is tuna with mayo and I have a 1/2 cup of cucumber & zuchinni slices as a snack. Not my idea of variety today! LOL. Dinner will be buttery garlic shrimp and steamed broccoli with parmesean.

                      Hey all!

                      Not much new here. Today is going to be a HUNGRY day (in fact, I was hungry a few hours after dinner last night but didn't want to eat anything because I was already in bed!) and I'm afraid I didn't bring enough food. Luckily I get to leave work at 4pm and can do home and have a large snack or a small meal before I have to teach my yoga class.

                          Grump city this morning.... 4.5lbs up from low - WTH??? I went back to induction on Monday, something should've kicked in by now -not flipping GAIN weight. OY Vey, I'm one angry lady...

                          I do have hot yoga tonight though - going to sweat some of this crap outta me.

                              Good morning all! Another bright and sunny morning here. Ready to tackle another day. Still no movement on the scale, hopefully that will come soon.
