Re: ROLL CALL - Sun 2 March

    morning yall!!

zarabelle, way to go on staying strong!! with that attitude, you are going to be a huge success!!

sandy, so glad you are back! remember to think thin and have an awesome grocery day tomorrow!

glenda, bambina, chris, good morning!! glenda, do you really have one of those phototherapy lights for seasonal affective disorder? i did a high school science fair project on that and impressed even myself with the positive results!

dana, way to go on losing those inches! you are going to rock your bikini! i just bought a new one, too

katie, let us know how those wings turn out. which pumpkin pudding did you make, is it induction safe? i would love the recipe if so.

workinmyway, welcome! newbies always welcome, jump in and make yourself at home.

beanpole, i hear ya on the emotional eating. way to be self aware, such a bad bad thing when you are not... your kids are adorable, by the way

mitzi, i HATE when my ipod battery is not charged!! it is the worst when you figure it out 2 minutes into your workout, with 45 minutes ahead of you of listening to your own breathing!!! that happens to me on a long run now and then, and i HATE IT!!!! jeez, way to go though. and your breakfast of bacon infused asparagus sounds AWESOME> drooling. so did you eat the bacon as well? bacon is like my weak point, i will drop EVERYTHING for crispy bacon!!!

EVERMIND!! you are so dang positive, i love reading your thoughtful posts every day. no matter how busy, you always manage to write more than just a few paltry lines here and there.. that's awesome! i am getting nails done tomorrow, i can't wait to wake up feeling as nice as you did today!

colleenie, how wierd the weather changes so much! it was in the 80's here in arizona most of the week, now in the 70's, so i bet your weather in vegas is going to be just perfect! you are going to have a blast!!!

HARMONY!!! welcome back sister!!!!!!! i know you flirted with coming back a while ago, and now i hope you are back for good!!!!! we missed you!!!!

i just had my morning starbucks, and feel very positive, centered, and energized. i got that pound off yesterday at the gym that i had accumulated from the meatball binge on friday night, my stomach is nice and flat again, and i woke up feeling light and airy and not like i had a bowling ball in my stomach like i did yesterday morning after The Meatball Incident. just another positive reaffirmation that eating well and lightly is soooo much better for my body than overeating all in one sitting. plan to do some light exercise today, organizing and housework like evermind, and perhaps tackle some work later on.

    have a beautiful day!

      Good afternoon everyone!
Happy Mothers' Day to the UK ladies.

Yesterday I bought a pair of size 16 pants. I was planning ahead, but when I came home and tried them on, they fit! Yea! Except they were petites and they tag didn't say so. Oh well, they might work or I might cut them off and make capris. I don't want to dig through the garbage for the tags, so I won't exchange them.

      Have a great day!

Happy UK Mother's Day! And welcome WorkinMy Way! Hey, I'm an old newbie and these good folks just took me in, listened to my whining a little, and got me pumped up! I feel so good about this WOE now!

This morning at church a few people said I looked like I'm feeling better -- I had bronchitis real bad but mostly it's the ketosis that makes me feel better!

It's 70 degrees in TN and a GORGEOUS day. Although I'll hurt tomorrow, been in the garden.

I am here! I am here! I am here! Just have enough time to pop on and say...I AM HERE! LOL! Tomorrow starts the no weigh challenge so hubby has hid the scale for me! I've got a show @6pm tonight and I think I'm gonna go shopping and restock my kitchen with a bunch of legal foods. Doing lots of batch cooking tomorrow too. I'm a week and a half into induction with a 6.5 lb. loss. And I've been walking/jogging 2.5-3 miles on the scale every day (except I took a rest yesterday) This is where I need to keep all this up for more than 3 weeks. I wanna be here 6 months from now with some before and after pics in my siggy and help someone new the way y'all help me! WOO-HOO!

Wow I need to have your determination! Not drinking on your own b-day is something to be proud of! I caved in and had some vodka's and diet 7up for my friend's going away party. But you are such an inspiration I'm am recommitting to NO alcohol at least til I'm on that rung! WTG!

Thank you!! By the end of the day, I went from dealing with emotional urges to eat to not having any appitite. I had to make myself eat dinner. Starbucks sounds good. I want to try something low carb from there when I get the evil cravings monster under control!

Hi, BeanPole - enjoy your rest day! I hope the DBF thing works out soon... I like your plan for avoiding emotional eating. That is exactly the kind of dedication it takes to be successful in the long run. That a girl!
Things are much better now! Thanks!

                Hey Everyone!!!

I forgot who asked me but I wanted to let you know that the wings were great!!! JUST GREAT!!!!!! My bf loved them! I just made them with butter and Franks hot sauce. The pumpkin cheesecake (used, Scooter's recipe I think and yes it's induction safe) was great! But I think I wayyyyyy over did it yesterday on the net carbs. I wasn't counting and had a major stall!!!! Does anyone know how I can get a whooshie or get back to losing on induction? Are there foods that accelerate it?

I'll post this in today's roll call too!!!!
