    Morning everyone

    It's my birthday today! 36!

    Am off for lunch but will make it a burger with mayo (no bun of course) and then we are having a delivery of carefully selected Indian food tonight. For the first time in years, I am not going to drink alcohol on my bday!

    Last day of induction tomorrow.

    It is 3:16 am here, I haven't been to sleep yet -- just not tired I hope it doesn't hit me later, good thing I don't have to work today if I don't want to.

        I am SOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY! I have just been shopping and have dropped between one and two dress sizes - YIPPEE! Bought a size 14 jacket and several size 16 things and for the first time I am wearing colour instead of black. Emerald green cardigan today and the teacher at my daughter's nursery said I looked glamorous this morning!

        Zippity do dar, zippity day - my oh my what a wonderful day! xxx

            Happy Birthday Zara!! Isn't it a great feeling when people notice??

            Well last night I went to my mother's house for my sons birthday party. She made a bunch of stuff that I couldn't have and kept trying to force it on me by asking me how it was and then giving me a look when I would say I couldn't eat it. <sigh> Now.... I'm 5ft tall and 143 (I'm down a little today!!) and told her I was probably going to try for about 120 which is in the middle of where I should be. Now I'm getting the ooooo be careful speech etc. Boy it was annoying - especially when I was the one eating healthier than everyone else last night and somehow I am the one in the wrong. I give up sometimes I really do.

            Now I need to try and milk goats - which should be pretty funny But I need milk so I have to give it an honest go this morning or else I have to hit the grocery store and I don't feel like doing that.

              I'm craving mayo this morning. Thankfully, it is something that I CAN have! Did arms and back workout this morning. I'm doing twice as many push-ups as I was doing two weeks ago. I'm getting stronger!! Maybe I'll be able to do a pull-up without putting my foot on the back of a chair soon.

              Lets all work hard and get a whooshie this week!!

                Happy Birthday Zarabelle!

                Good morning everyone else! It's already 53F this morning! Yesterday I went for an hour-long walk. About half the sidewalks were shoveled and the rest were snowy and icy. That shouldn't be a problem today. My son's snowman is almost gone already. TOM is almost over and I thought I would be down a few pounds. I never drink enough water over the weekends, so that's on my to do list today.

                  Hey Everyone!!!

                  I forgot who asked me but I wanted to let you know that the wings were great!!! JUST GREAT!!!!!! My bf loved them! I just made them with butter and Franks hot sauce. The pumpkin cheesecake (used, Scooter's recipe I think and yes it's induction safe) was great! But I think I wayyyyyy over did it yesterday on the net carbs. I wasn't counting and had a major stall!!!! Does anyone know how I can get a whooshie or get back to losing on induction? Are there foods that accelerate it?

                  Anyways, today I am going to have bacon and eggs at work and I've made some spaghetti squash with Atkins friendly spicy sauce!

                  If anyone has answers to the above...I'd so appreciate it!

                    I've just come in from the gym and my first 24oz of water. Today I am restructuring things, got a big conference next week and need to drop some water weight that carbs have brought about!

                      happy birthday z! you are just a "youngun!" enjoy!

                      had a FAB weekend with family at the beach...i did however overindulge but i am NOT beating myself up. upping the water will do the trick...nothing illegal, just too much.

                      we did not see whales but the ship gave us free tix to come back and try again. my son met up with us later so i gave them to him and is roommate so they will have something fun and free to do later. the whales migrate thru the end of march so they still have time.

                      off to get this party started. full steam ahead!

                        Morning, all!

                        Well, my size 14 Lane Bryants are just barely ok to wear - getting too LOOSE! That's a nice thing to complain about! <grin> And the scale is the SAME.........I'm still up 2.5 lbs from my 195 low for no obvious reason. I think my weight is just not indicative of much these days.

                        Today will be a long day, as we have a staff meeting after work, and dh and dd are going to go pick up dd's new(ish) car while I'm still at the meeting. Then back to get me, and home in time to make dinner. I'm thrilled that dd will be getting a car, though. Her truck died one week ago and I've had to drive her everywhere or she's had to beg for rides from friends.

                        I've got a yummy lunch packed, and my almond breakfast pudding with raspberries is in the micro as I type. This is the only "diet" I know where there are just oodles of fantastic foods to eat! And we lose weight! Sheesh! ANOTHER nice thing to complain about!

                        Happy b-day, Zara. You DO look wonderful (I'm peering at you across the ocean). Jess, sounds like you're having trouble getting on track - are you?

                              Good morning all! Happy Birthday Zarabelle! Enjoy your day!

                              Didn't lose overnight, but still on track. I'm down 20.5 GONE FOREVERY! My goal for the weekend was to get to 20 so the extra .5 was bonus! I tried on capri pants last night that have been in my closet for quite some time. They fit! It was weird to wear them - all size 8P - because it has literally been years since they fit me. I'm really looking forward to the 6's now. I got up early and was at work at 7:00 this morning. I've got a very very busy day today.

                              I didn't walk yesterday eventhough the weather was so beautiful. I'm a little disappointed in myself about that. I did take my youngest stepdaughter bathing suit shopping. She's very picky so I thought we should get a move on finding a cute one before they are all gone. She now has three new ones so she's set for the summer.

                              Oh, I almost forgot - I tried the low-carb meatballs last night. I cooked them a little too long and the cheese melted out of them but were still great. I'm having a few for lunch. I think I ate too many last night which is why no loss this morning. I'll be careful today.

                              Anyway - I can't believe it's March already! Have a wonderful Atkins friendly day!

                              Truly - NOTHING tastes as good as being thin feels!
