    Hi Everyone

    I did an fat burning and toning DVD yesterday and am having slight difficulty bending down this morning

    The scale is showing a gain of 2 pounds this morning but I know I have not put a foot wrong so am writing it off to PMS and hoping it vanishes again in the next few days.

    I put on my smaller jeans with no problem today - yippee!

    Off to a soft play with the kids this morning so more running around is in order - heck, I might even have a bounce on the bouncy castle that's got to burn a few calories!

    Have fun on the bouncy castle! What a way to lose weight.

    Morning started off well, I'm still feeling a tiny bit sick from when I was sick over the weekend. My bf thinks I have been getting sick more since I've been on this WOE...as much as I always defend Atkins, I think it is true! I've been thinking about it and the only reason I can come up with is that I eat salad almost every day for lunch and I almost always buy it out somewhere and with as many raw veggies as possible piled on top. I'm thinking maybe one of the places I frequent doesn't wash their veggies very well... Or could it be something else? Do other people here get sick more often? I exercise and I eat on plan so it's not because I'm doing something wrong with the WOE. I may just have to start bringing my salads for lunch from home!

      I sometimes feel sick too. I drink LOADS of water which helps.

        A quick good morning to all!

        Off to work this AM...a wicked busy day in surgery. Have my bkfst & lunch packed so I can eat in between cases.

          zarabelle, when you workout and use muscles that have not been used in abundance or if you over do it, your body will retain water in the muscles to heal....very common to go up in weight, you will loose it in a whooshie soon!

            Down a couple more thanks to the water loss. Sure had some broken up sleep last night due to bathroom trips! ....zzzzzzzzzzzz...

            Sick in what way? I was sick for a while while on Atkins when I suddenly had a gall stone attack and had the gall bladder removed. I was good after that. Oh, and ALWAYS wash your veggies! ack!! Too many people handling produce!

              Good Morning.. I am off today I had a LONG day yesterday and was too tired to go in.. Nice to be a Sub...can work when I want..

              Today's plans are to go to Water Aerboics this morning..and then take my daughter to the doctor afterwards..she is sick again.. She has been sick off and on since last Tuesday And its even stressing her more since she is missing all her schoolwork... She hates to be behind.. Not sure what is going on with her..

              Oh gosh.. I have 7 boxes of girl scout cookies in this house! UGH.. Have I mentioned its the week before TOM...and that is my weakness...junk food before TOM... I plan to take some of the cookies to Youth on Sunday.. I think I am going to have to put them outside in the freezer until I go.. I just can't keep staring at them.. especially those lemon ones......

                hello everyone.....i would like to report in for the day. i also would like to proudly announce that i am halfway to my march pushups goal of 1250. its amazing, months ago.......i would have never thought this to be in my realm of possibility. i haven't done my abs yet so if there is someone here that can please, please send me a reminder so that i dont forget them tonight. i hope everyone has a terrific day.

                    Did core synergistics(sp?) this morning. I lost the willpower battle yesterday evening to my mom's birthday cake and icecream. Today I feel like crap. Now I'm up another pound and I just KNOW that its there to stay. I can't get anything off anymore. I've decided to do a four day fat fast starting today. Maybe its not the best option, but I've got to try something. The discouragement is starting to seriously effect my willpower. I can't help having thoughts like whats the point because I'm doing all this work and not losing weight or inches. I've been at it for quite awhile and the only results that I can tell is that I'm seriously toning up all over and building muscle in my arms from doing the P90X program. I've posted my menu, I've tweaked my menu, I've cut things out, I've cut portions in half, I've done everything I could think of, and followed all suggestions that I came across. I thought I had a yeast overgrowth and took yeast fighters for awhile and now my spit test is fine. I'm completely at loss. My weight has been increasing since Christmas and I'm currently up to 121lbs. Hopefully the fat fast will get things moving again. Thats my rant for the day.

                        Morning, all!

                        Christopher - congrats on being 1/2 way to March's pushup goal! That's fab. You are working hard. NOW GO DO YOUR SITUPS!

                        Zara -whenever I do a new workout, that does something different to a core muscle group, I go up about 3 lbs. No biggie.

                        Oz - hang in there! Long days do end.

                        AP - I'm sick much LESS often when I'm on this woe. But you might have a point with those veggies. I rarely buy salads, always make them home. Try rinsing everything...........?

                        Sandy - put ALL of those cookies away where you can't see them. NOW. If you have to, give them to your dd to store away somewhere that you don't know about.

                        Got my stitches out yesterday -woo hoo! Still tender, but much better.

                        Life is good. Help others feel that way, too, today.

                          good morning all! well, i am back to work today after taking yesterday off for almost 3 hours of dental work....blah! feeling fine today.....4 days til spring break. i can do it!

                            Good morning!

                            I'm halfway thru my second week and going strong. I really think staying off the scale has made a big difference for me.

                            I have a pair of tight jeans I want to get back into as my first goal hanging on the back of the door. I will check my progress on Friday

                            Today's workout is Bowflex and yoga.

                              Started my first day of heavy training. Woke up at 6:30 to do 50 minutes on a 7 degree incline at 3.5MPH. Burned 300 calories and feel great! This afternoon it's on to weight lifting, and I'll be working out twice a day every weekday, and resting on weekends. Here's hoping it'll sculpt me the way I've always wanted.
