    Hey everybody!

    Amy--I have been getting sick pretty often this year. Granted, I'm a teacher, and I come into contact with lots of germs, but it seems to be hitting me really hard this year. In my first two years of teaching, I did not miss a single day of work--no calling in sick, no going home sick, nothing. This year, I've already used 3 sick days! It's bad when I call in, I NEVER do that! I'm not sure if it's just a new crop of germs from the kiddies or what. I shudder to think of how much more often I'd be getting sick if I didn't take supplements and eat healthy foods!

    Today is my day of rest from exercise, YAY! My body is tired and needs a break. I plan on going home tonight and taking a longggg hot shower, putting on PJs, and doing something that requires no energy or brainpower.

      Oh my goodness! I am up before noon and thinking I'll be one of the first peeps in roll call and there are already 15 replies! LOL! Anyhooooo...woke up at 6:45am today to get a nice breakfast for ds, he has testing today. I had mexican crustless quiche and coffee for mine. Yesterday I went swimming at the Y and my arms are a little sore today but I'm going back for more. I might hit the treadmill for a workout before that because I have a feeling I won't be working out as hard in the pool as I did yesterday! LOL! I need to get back to doing my pushups for the March challenge too! Things are well, eating is right on, and I'm still loving exercise! ha-ha! Thought I'd never say that! Happy Tuesday Everyone! Take some time today for YOU!

        Hi all!!!

        All is well here!! A little tight for cash which is stressing me out but I get paid on Friday! *YAY*. So my hot yoga is on hiatus for a few days until I can get the bus fare! I cannot WAIT to go again but will work out tonight at home.

        I definitely feel like I am battling a cold! I cheated last night and had as legal a thai food as i could. My weight is the same, so I am glad there's no increase. I am back on track today!!!! I am going to have salmon and mayo for lunch!!!

        I am just exhausted!!

          Busy busy! Everyone is busy today. Work is slow and I managed to clean the house this morning. No more excuses for avoiding the gazelle LOL TOM has arrived and has me drained. blah. Need to take iron pills.

          I bought an ipod yesterday to use when I work out. Now to load it up with songs! My legs were so sore after two days of gazelle. Then we went walking and man it felt so good to stretch them babies out! I think I'll go exercise slowly today

          I'm having shrimp wrapped in bacon for lunch - cannot wait!

            Rachel, tell me more about these bacon wrapped shrimps! And you will have so much fun loading your songs on the iPod! I got a lot of my own cd's on mine and through the year I've had it I always ask for gift cards to the itunes store. You will find TONS of great music on there! I've got a playlist specifically made for my treadmill workouts! HAVE FUN!

              Good morning everyone.

              I hadn't heard people getting sicker more often on Atkins before, I know for me I get sick a whole lot less.

              I took a day off yesterday, had a nice easy time with my wife, took them out to breakfast. Here's something you may not know, and I'm glad I caught it... IHOP puts Pancake Batter in their scrambled eggs! You can request just plain cracked eggs, but I'm sure glad I caught that.

              Work is still crazy, but the WOL is going really well.

                  OMG seriously? How did you find that out?
                  I was reading the menu, looking for information about dairy/wheat because my 3 year old has problems with both, and in REALLY little print on the back side of the menu there was notification about dairy and wheat in the eggs because of the pancake batter!

                      awe yes I remember that from the first time I did this woe years ago, but forgot about it, thanks for the reminder. I remember when I asked the waitress if it was just eggs in the omelet, my husband thought I was crazy... but low and behold she did say there was a touch of pancake batter. Why are people so mean like that?

                      Another day of yard work for me, I got sunburn yesterday but being outside in the awesome weather feels amazing. husband's car died last night,had to tow it up the hill for $192 and we still don't know what's wrong with it

                                Hi everyone... Late night of work last night. Got home at 1am and in bed at 2. Doing house cleaning this am and catchup from the past week. I worked the past 6/7... which for a part timer like me feels like a lot... So glad to have a day off!!! I was so exhausted I didn't wake up til noon!!! so unlike me. Now I feel a little like the day is wasted so I'm trying to make up for lost time... zoom, zoom zoom! Trying to hurry so there's time for a walk. It's a beautiful day out there!!!
