    Good morning Stacers!

    Tomorrow is the first day of Spring...my favorite time of the year. It is a time of new beginnings.

    Hope you all have a wonderful day. Eat well, exercise, drink your H20 & do a good deed for either yourself or someone else!

    Morning all! Speaking of spring, I haven't even started my seeds for the garden yet. I HAVE to get that done today if I want a garden this year. Did back, bicep, and tricep workout along with ab ripperX. My arms are exhausted! Also joined two new challenges yesterday. I'm really excited! Especially for the swimsuit challenge! Hopefully this will motivate me to work very hard so that I can post great after pics of my new bikini body! I feel some of the bloating and water weight leaving me this morning. I probably dropped a few pounds in water weight *I hope!*. Today, find that extra motivation and add fuel to the weightloss journey fire! Speaking from recent experience, its always good to remind ourselves of why we're doing this and to get excited about it! Keep on pressing on!

      good morning. off to work in a few. wishing i could go back to bed and be cozied up under the covers. after we changed the clocks, geez it is still so dark out when i am getting up and ready. anyways...have a happy day everyone! i'll be back later!

        Good morning. Made crockpot fajitas last night. Now my ds thinks I'm a hero. He loved them.
        Another rainy, foggy day. Looking forward to Spring.

          Good morning to you all. I dont know what happened yesterday.. I looked for the sticky to post but couldnt find anything. I am here today or at least I think I am.
          Day three on the diet and still going strong. I have had some bad sugar cravings today. Sort of weired cuz I didnt have any cravings before today. Maybe it means that I will start to burn stuff a different way. I felt that I ate a lot of food yesterday maybe to much.
          Breakfast:
          2 eggs,
          red pepper,
          sausage,
          onion.
          Lunch:
          Chicken breast
          cheese
          egg
          lettuce (chicken club salad with low carb ranch)
          Dinner:
          5 oz steak
          mushroom, red pepper, onion
          califlower
          lettuce salad w/ranch
          snack:
          2 stix celery
          11 almonds
          1 tbsp. chunky pb

          SO, do you think it was just way to much or what? I have a problem...even though the food i am eating is good for me... I am still eating way to much of it. I know that is the problem. Someone lock the fridge please...or maybe it is I that should be locked up.

            Hello All! No news to report today but I'm happy and on plan. I find that I so look forward to my daily lunch time salad! I like the taste of it way more than I ever liked the sandwiches and crisps! It's easy to just get stuck eating something and not think there is really another option! I never thought I'd look forward to vegetables.

            I'm hoping that for Spring the sun will start peeking out a little more! Hope all are well and having a great day! I appreciate this board so much and all the people on it. I was thinking today about how I just started not even three months ago but look how far we have all come in that time. Good for us!

              achy achy today....i washed 40 some windows yesterday....blah! i THOUGHT i was in pretty good shape til i got out of bed this morning! it FELT like spring yesterday. set up the hammock, filled the bird feeder, put the pool furniture out on the deck, washed all the windows.......watch, now we'll get one of those crazy desert spring blizzards!

              other than feeling sore (so much for 30 minutes on the elliptical each day) i am pretty good. still trying to get the water in which has been an issue lately...not sure why. off to exercise and get this party started. i am gonna have to go BACK to work to get some rest!

                Good Morning All.. I am finally starting to feel better.. Will try to go to work tomorrow... I need the extra money...

                Haven't done well food wise for the last 3 days.. One reason was I just didn't feel well enough..and two was just plain laziness...

                Today I feel like being on track.. I was watching the Biggest Loser this morning and If I want to look like them I have to stay on track!

                  Hi Shaunawa, I think we were posting at the same time! I don't think that is too much food. Depending on the amounts of your veggies and also your low carb ranch and peanut butter you could be well above the 20g of carbs limit during induction, though. Just be careful. Also, you shouldn't be having the almonds or peanut butter until the nut rung, and always be careful of peanut butter because it has a deceptively high amount of carbs! Try plugging your menu into fitday.com and see what you come up with.

                    Good Morning

                    Oh what a tired day! I can't seem to get going this morning. Another rainy day here in Michigan and the weather man is calling for snow starting Friday and every day next week. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? Anyone want to "house swap" just for a week?? I hope everyone has a GREAT day!

                      Hi Everyone

                      I feel on top of the world today. 1.5 pounds down this morning so total of 16 in my first month. We are off on hols tomorrow and can't wait.

                      Got my blood test results back and am so pleased. It sticks two fingers up to anyone who says eating large amounts of fat is bad for you!

                      They are delighted with my blood results. The average in the UK is 5.6mmol/l for women which is over the recommended amount. The ideal amount is under 5mmol/l.

                      Mine is 3.6mmol/l (3 weeks in to Atkins)
                      Optimum LDL should be under 3mmol/l - mine is 1.89mmol/l
                      HDL - higher the better ideally over 1 mmol/l- mine is 1.45mmol/l
                      Cholesterol Ratio - ideal 4.5 or less - mine is 2.5
                      Triglycerides - 0.59
                      Glucose: 4.8
                      Kidney and Liver function - all fine.

                      YAY! Will repeat tests in six months.

                        Good morning Stac'ers!

                        Yesterday was my son's 17th birthday. He wanted pasta, meatballs and garlic bread for dinner.

                        I made everyone else dinner and then made a small pork stir fry for myself.

                        Another day under my belt

                        Exercise has to wait till later this afternoon today due to a morning meeting. No prob, I WILL get it done.

                            Hey Misplaced - if you need more windows I have some ... Boy you made me tired just reading your post

                            Zarabelle - congratulations on your loss Way to go!

                            My abs hurt today - okay goofy me did not realize that push ups ALSO affected your abs so I have been overworking some muscles that haven't see a ray of light in a very, very long time. Hopefully it will do something for me.

                            Beanpole - I am doing the Spring Into Summer challenge with you and spiritwalker -- couldn't talk myself into posting pictures of my body in a bathing suit so I wimped out on that one. But, I have plenty of other challenges to keep me busy so maybe next time it comes around I will feel comfortable enough to post them. I was gonna post my pic's this morning at work but brought the wrong cord - duh! so will have to do it when I get home tonight
