  • Tues Roll Call

    I am sitting in a Bread Company. I have a meeting here in a short time. I bread company! Lush breads and smells everywhere. But you know once I leave the counter, I am off to another world....

    In my world my joints are feeling better, much better. I think I am slowly releasing excess water too. Carbs cause us to retain, along with all things "woman" that cause us to retain!

    Evermind, thanks for the heads up on being well rounded and up or down.
    I am doing very well. I feel great. Yesterday I worked very hard all day long and then faced the bike and the 12mi promise I made to myself. I climbed on at 6:40 and got off at 7:33...my family was unprepared to come home to a sweaty breathless exerciser, with a smile from ear to ear! Promise keeping always boosts my energetic soul! Onward into my second week!

    hi jess!!! i'm here. good to see you feeling more in control. man some days it is hard. if i was in a bread company that would require great restraint....bread is my weakness. but my stomach HATES it! i always have to remember that. carbs KILL my stomach!

    another day at the salt mines...off and running. feeling ok....i could use a little more sleep! have a great day all!

      Hi all - is it close to the weekend yet? LOL - yesterday was a LONG day at work and I don't see the week getting better. Oh well....

        My weekend blew by, I'm bushed, and someone going on vacation has placed a deadlined project on me, without asking. Thanks for that.

        I blew it big time last night, but reset today. I won't go into details, but suffice to say there's a Chinese restaurant that can pay its rent based off what I did last night.

        That's okay. Everything is in place today, I have no desire to repeat my error, and I went to fitday and input my menu, my target goal, my target date, etc., so we're all set to go. No cheating between now and May 3rd. Onward and upward, right?

          Today is an easy day for me...almost like rest day, but not quite. lol Did plyo this morning, took care of the kids, made breakfast, made the beds, etc. Then I parked myself on the couch and fell asleep. My oldest son is on spring break and both of the kids are home today. My youngest son actually sat with me the whole time I was sleeping, along with my youngest cat who took a nap on me. When I woke up about 45mins later, my oldest son was napping in the chair while my youngest was still sitting with me watching Winnie the Pooh. It was a nice morning, but now I feel like I haven't gotten anything done and the whole morning has passed me by. I feel 'off' because this isn't part of my usual routine. I think I shall go and get to work, make myself useful. Talk to you guys later! The sun is shining here! Go outside and get some exercise!!

            Good morning, all!

            It's back to work for me today, and I'm TIREDDDDDDDDDD! I could have used an extra few days of vacation. Sporting my new short hair today (though NOT in a fauxhawk like my avatar pic) and incredibly nervous to show anyone, since long hair is the "in" thing around here...

            Day of rest tonight, no exercise, since I did my 11 mile run yesterday. Tomorrow is another running day, so I might do a little bit of yoga to stretch things out.

              Just checking in. I feel like I am starting to get sick. Sore throat, tired, stuffed nose in the morning. YUCK! I can't get sick. I am trying to get myself motivated to exercise. I hope everyone has a great day.

                Morning all. Blew it on legal foods yesterday. It was planned because i simply wanted to. I do not feel guilty as it seems that when i do that, planned like that, and only with legal foods(owl legal that is) I feel better and less cravey. I am able to be more in control and it also seems to kick up my metabolism or something. Generally seem to lose more after these things. Dunno. Not advocating cheats. Like i said I made it a legal food fest. But too much cheese, too much fruit is just as bad. But when i start craving non stop for a week or more straight this seems to do the trick. Anywho sorry for rambling. Everybody exercise today

                  julirama - Don't be nervous! I have long hair and all I want to do is hack it off so I can sport some trendy, stylish, sophisticated 'Do' that doesn't take half the trouble to dry after a shower! All those girls doing the long hair thing probably have a boyfriend like mine that doesn't want them to cut their hair. Good for you for being you! Good for being a strong, independant woman!!

                    Beautiful morning here - Super sunny!!!

                    Today is my "free" day - Hubby took the day off of work and took the kids to the dentist. I am going for a run around the neighborhood and meeting my fam at the park for playgroup.
                    Yoga tonight - pretty mellow, nice day!!

                      Good Morning everyone. Hope you all had a great Easter Weekend. I had yesterday off from work... it was so nice to have an extra day off. Now if I could only get one more. I am very tired today too. Not to mention both of my kids were having a huge fit this morning. Both of them have spring fever or should I say SUMMER fever. They want school to be at an end so badly.

                      The scale is a little higher today up two lbs. - I have to admit I cheated a little. My SIL made me some low carb cheese cake for me. However she added grahm crackers to the bottom of the cake. I couldnt break her heart, she went through so much effort. So, I ate it. Dont tell her...but it was the best part. I could really taste the fake sugar in the cheese cake. It left a yucky after taste in my mouth. So, I cheated and it didnt even taste good. Probable a good thing, cuz I didnt have two pieces.

                      I am a little hungrier then I should be for day 9 but not to bad. I just added another egg to my omelet this morning. And it is 9:30 and I dont have any cravings for anything right now. I came to work prepared with string cheese and sausage.

                      Jess....I am glad to hear that you are feeling a little better about things. I dont know how you could ever go into the bread store. I know it would have to be a MUST or I couldnt set foot in there. Oh the smell of bread....yum! I have to go into a bread store to pick up this low carb bread that I found, and they always offer other flavors for you to try. Evil bread pushers. Hope you have a great day Jess!

                        Beanpole: I am right there with you with the husband not wanting us to cut our hair. And about the sickness.. I don't know what is going on with me. I was really happy with my weight results on Sunday and today is a whole different story. I have gained 3 pounds, I am stuffed up, sore throat, tired all the time and super cold. I don't know what is going on. I don't think induction flu because I am on my 3rd week.

                          Good Morning everyone.. I took off work this morning and went to Water Aerobics.. I love going there.. While I was at the Y there is a form up for a line dancing class.. I just might go and do that... Wish I could get someone to go with me though...

                          Today is my Anniversary...20 long years.. I have eaten on plan so far.. Came home from aerobics and reached in the freezer for one of my Party Trouble's Mexican Beef containers.. put it in the microwave and just had Cauliflower too.. I have enough left over for dinner tonight..

                          Son is complaining about his throat.. Hubby says my eye looks pink.. Praying its just allergies and NOT pink eye...

                          Off to work the afternoon..and least I won't be here where there is BAD stuff to eat..lol

                            Good Morning Everyone!

                            Today I'm taking my finals test in work and then either this afternoon or tomorrow I'll be on the phone. Nervous but excited about it at the same time. Today we are having a potluck and so far everyone else has brought in sweets. Someone did bring in some greek food and has olives to share so that will be tasty. Supposedly pizza will be ordered later so toppings for me. Its gonna be a tricky one but I'll manage.

                              I'm back after Easter weekend. DD is home for spring break, I have school this afternoon, just one class. I began exercising in earnest yesterday, ran 1 mile with the fam, came home and did another 45 minutes of treadmill work, and an hour on the treadmill this morning. Going to eat induction foods and see if that, with exercise, won't kick start some weight loss as well. My goal is 2 hours of exercise everyday and to be 10 pounds down by my b-day on May 26th.
