        Morning! I'm back from my trip! Glad to be home, but I had a wonderful time.

        I did come home with a bladder infection (I think I was so busy in New York that I didn't drink enough fluids) and it's causing all sorts of bloating/gas pains/tummy trouble. Could be the infection, or the antibiotic they gave me. But it, too, shall pass.

        I walked a MINIMUM of 4 miles per day each day I was gone, and it was delicious. I don't like walking in nature - I want to absorb the sights and sounds of people. In the city, I walked at a fast pace, but still got to see all around me.

        So now I'm home and I have another week left of vacation. Today I am working on my thesis (Yep, still not even close to being in the middle of it!) and tomorrow am taking a day trip with DD to see Cal State Long Beach.

        I'm glad to see everyone's posts here - we're doing good, folks! Step by step, we're staying the course.

          You know, I post on other boards, write a ton of emails at work and this is the only place where I cannot post one little thing w/o messing up! I edit virtually all of my posts here to correct spelling, grammar and missing words. I mess it up almost everyday!

            Hon, I'm so proud of you for being strict on holiday!!! That is so wonderful! It's hard not to fall into the "well just one bite, I'm on holiday!" thinking. So mucho kudos to you!!! And I'm positive the wooshie fairy might be closer than you think!
