  • Roll Call - Monday 7 April

    Morning STACers!

    I am a bit fed up this morning. Almost three weeks since the scale moved.... I am going to have a mega water today, cut out coffee and have high fat and obviously low carb food. I am hoping this will do the trick and then I can reintroduce coffee and see if that's my problem.

    Planning to have mock danish for breakfast, cheese and bacon salad for lunch and chicken and courgette (zuchini) for dinner. And LOTS AND LOTS of water.

    Hi Zara.. Day 11 no scale movement I keep telling myself its going to go down..soon... I am getting ready to start TOM..so I am hoping when he arrives and starts to leave it will go down.. and a lot of the times it does... I sure hope so cause I don't know if I can continue to go on without the scale moving...

    Today I go to the Chiropractor this morning..and then Right after I am going for my First Manicure/Pedicure. A friend gave me a little gift and told me to go pamper myself so I am!

    Hope this doesn't make me spoiled..cause I am going with the Classic Pedicure and they have about 6 other kinds to try...lol

    Then this afternoon.. I TRULY HAVE to finish those taxes....GRRR

          Ok - I'm feeling icky today - TOM showed up without a warning and I didn't expect it until next week.

          We start up school again today - amazing but it's a new year for my kids. New books and all!! They are both looking forward to it which is great.

          Gotta run and get stuff done before we start!!

            good morning. just finishing my mock danish for breakfast and then it is out the door to work! blah...only monday. the weekend was so beautiful here, wish it could have lasted longer!

              I am up and rolling. Rode my bike 23 mi yesteray and am worn out! Will be hard at work today on the lower end of the carb spectrum.

                Morning everyone..

                It is suppose to be 70 degrees here today! OMG! But 45 this weekend. I am going to workout early so I can be outside all day. ( am going to clean out the sailboat) Scale is still up 6 pounds, I measured myself yesterday and I am up inches. (maybe from working out??) All I know is I am going to stay strong and continue my induction phase. I hope everyone has a great day..

                  Sandy - I sure hope we get a whooshie soon!

                  I am feeling cheerier than this morning as I saw an old friend who has not seen me since I started this WOE and she said how different I look and how much weight I've lost I didn't even tell her I was doing Atkins so it was unprompted!

                  She is doing slimming world and I made lunch for us. She has the same salad veg as me but then just a tiny slither of avocado, a sprinkling of cheese, a slice of ham and a tsp of olive oil/vinegar. I had half an avocado, a big handful of cheese, bacon bits (fried) and a big dollop of mayonnaise! I know which WOE I would prefer to do!

                    Morning all!

                    Feeling good this morning. Ran 3 mile yesterday and did a lot of upper body resistance - I'm sore! Yesterday was the first time that I have been able to see veins on my arms while lifting - kinda freaked me out!
                    Today is lower body resistance and spin class.
                    The Dave Ramsey seminar/lunch on Sat was really fun. He's a super nice guy and was really entertaining. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

                      Started rest week today before the last phase of P90X. TOM is here, but I'm back at my starting weight and back on track! Its been a busy week and I'm preparing for another busy week! Hope you guys are doing well!

                        managed to do upper body weights last night and planning to actually set foot inside gym (which i hate, i usually run outside) to do elliptical. i need to mix it up a little.

                          Morning all. Feeling kinda icky today. I think i am retaining some water from all the yardwork i did this weekend. My muscles are sore from the tips of my fingers to my toes...mimom perhaps you could post a menu in the review my menu. Or even here. We may be able to help you. If you are going up in inches we could try to figure out why.

                              Well, I royally blew it. I had a surprise visit from my sister, niece and nephew Saturday, so we grabbed my father and his wife, and all went to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner. I could have stayed on my diet, but I cheated, and cheated again on Sunday while they were here. Back on induction today, though, so we'll get it nailed down.

                              What a gorgeous day outside (62 degrees, sunny, no clouds in the sky) to be stuck at work. Pity.
