  • Fell off plan..Ready to get back on!!

    Hello everyone,

    Last weekend was crazy! I had several parties to attend and temptation was all around me. Anywho, I am back and this time, intend to stick with it! I will say though, I have been hitting the gym 5 days a week and love going, so that's a good thing I guess. Here is my scenario, I am looking to losing 40lbs. I currently weigh 152. When I originally started the program ( 2 weeks ago) I weighed 157lb. So yes, I lost 5 lbs. But I would like to lose more sooner if possible. I notice that many of the folks on this forum have reported weight-loss of 10-15lbs in just their first week of induction. So is am I losing weight at an average pace given that my goal is just 40lbs?

    I've lost 29 since January 7-8. My original goal was 61 pounds but I don't think I'll lose that much. I may stay around the 40 - 45 range. I've lost slower than some on this site. At first I didn't cheat at all, then little by little, I would cheat here and there. So I don't think I'm doing terrible with the loss although it could be more, but your loss so far seems reasonable to me. Just my two cents...

        You do not have a lot to lose so you will lose slower.

            Its true, some people will lose rapidly and others at a slower pace. The important thing is to educate yourself on doing the program so that you feel comfortable doing it for the rest of your life. Follow the 4 phases, learn, change your habits and take measurements. The tape measure never lies. Get involved in the many resources available here (journals, forums, challenges) and keep going forward. You can do it!!
