Yeah I tried it today and it was awesome! I gotta check the nutritional info on our au jus sauce mix cause id like to make some hot roast beef dipped in au jus with provolone cheese...minus the kaiser roll!

Another fav of mine when I hit a restraunt is eggplant parmesan. I have mine baked without the breading and honestly I don't miss it with the yummy gooey cheese on top

Because of your job you have it tough and I completely understand!! I know you can do it and stick with it once you find your groove. I think that's all that matters.

Welcome back and hang in there. Outback Jess's thread has some wise words that rang true for me--check it out. As for the boring repetition of the diet--sometimes that helps me stay on (LOL) the WOE. I live on salads because you can take them with you if you have a fridge available. You can do a chef's salad or a nicoise salad with good tuna and tomato and feta and green beans, etc. Have them throw in some onion and peppers and bring along the guacamole and sour cream and you can have a tortilla-less fajita-even at work! I am wishing you luck and strength. I know our local pizza place has killer cheesesteaks and pizzas--I would be sorely tempted if I had to work there, too.

Just got your NJPA tagline (I am slow) I am a China girl in winter but a Jersey Shore girl in the summer and have sons at Lehigh and Lawrenceville NJ--you are definitely in dangerous pizza and cheesesteak territory! You have my condolences.

Wow! My folks have a place at the Jersey Shore and when I am not working at the shop, I try to get down there. I'm glad that you understand the constant temptation that surrounds me at all times...It would be bad enough even if I didn't own the shop but since I own one, it's a lot worse but I'm good now. I find that the more boring my food menu, the better I do in sticking with the diet. I tried making a cheesesteak without the bun but after I ate it, I felt like I wanted more pizza shop food...Also, I put 1 slab of steak (they are seperated into slabs) on the grill (1 slab is what we use on our 11" regular steaks). It was a bit much to eat and even though I knew it was too much meat, I couldn't stop eating it. So for me, I gotta keep it simple and boring. Keep gulping the water non-stop...That's how I am do well on this WOE!
