    Good morning!

    I kept those awesome words of encouragement from everyone who passed on their great advice of staying the course of exercise and eating while my FIL is here for two weeks.

    FIL and I got up to have coffee with my hubby and then we went for a walk with my DD9, well, she rode her bike while we strolled behind. It was a slower walk than I'm use to, but I was really glad to have the company and having FIL out walking with me. I found out during out walk that he hasn't been walking at home in a while. I think he really enjoyed the walk and stopping to smell the sage brush and pet our neighbors horses along the way.

    I stopped and smelled the fresh sage and enjoyed the conversation while getting in 1.324 miles of exercise today. That's thriving, right?

        Day five of induction for me and day four of no caffiene or sweetners. Looking forward to getting to the end of my first week, that is always an exciting milestone !!

          Wow Misty, what a terrific loss you have! Definitely easier to stay on target with numbers like that! Good for you!

            Mrs S Thanks for noticing

            I have been without power since Sunday!!! AHHH! It finally came back on around 5:00 this evening. Lighting hit a house and a transformer a 2 houses down from me.

            I have cheated my butt off these past few days. (Birthday cake) I have 2 more of them to get through next week. I am going to try to stay away from it. Anyway.. Talk to you guy's soon

              hey nichole!! yay you are back. wow-your power was out?! well i believe it. we had to leave michigan a lot later than we planned on sunday cause of that storm rolling through. glad to hear everything is okay now!!

              oh-and i hear ya on the cake thing. today is my second day back on track. had that wedding on saturday (holy champagne and vodka) and then monday was our anniversary..we ate our wedding cake that we saved. it was SO GREAT! i love cake lol.
