    My my... the days are flying by.

    Good morning everyone!

    Last night, I made the best pork chops I've ever made... I thought I had to share.

    I made a marinade mixture of Olive oil, a dash of kosher salt, red pepper flakes, red cayenne pepper, McCormick Cajun blend, and 2 tsp. splenda. I don't know exact measurements because I eyeball it, but I coated them, let marinade for 20-30minutes, and then put them on the stove on low, like 7 minutes a side, only flipping once...

    And, oh my! They were awesome.

    Unforunately DF doesn't eat pork so I had no one to share my delight with... I'm going to try it on chicken one night this week so he'll eat it...

    Just thought I'd share.

    good morning! that marinade sounds delicious!! i'm so sleepy right now...have to be in to work a little earlier than usual. but things are going good here. still feeling like i am retaining water a lot. i need to take a closer look at any sodium i am eating. i always know i need to shape up when my rings are snug. okay i'm still half asleep and probably rambling so have a great day everyone!

      Good Morning all Wow, plsmachic, that marinade sounds great!! I love adding new flavors to my everyday meats! I'm really looking forward to the Chipotle Rub and Garlic Peppercorn rub I just ordered from Pampered Chef, yummy

      Hope everyone is having a good morning so far! I'm really hoping my TOM passes soon, it's making me feel very bloated this morning and my weight is not budging (understandably).

        Good morning! Those pork chops sound nice and spicy! I was thinking I would go for spaghetti squash with pesto and romano cheese and butter tonight. I really don't miss pasta but I love pesto and am always looking for ways to use it on something different!

          good morning!

          still here, still on track! just going to make steak for breakfast. it pretty well ensures I'm not hungry until I go for lunch. I have to deal with some car-related stress today, ugh!

            Morning!

            Yep, another exciting day here - Gym, pool, listening to the boys fight...

            Nothing has changed, still holding - this maintenance thing isn't so bad

              Good Morning!!!

              Went to spinning this morning and had a new instructor. YIKES! She kicked our butts big time. I had a great breakfast this morning.. Scrambled eggs and 3 pork link sausages. I am going to continue cheat free today (hopefully) I am actually down a few pounds since Sunday. YEAH ME! Well, I hope everyone has a great day.

                  Morning all. I am feeling slightly better today, still sporting something of a headache. This is Day 3 for me. I weighed in this morning, and was down 6 pounds from yesterday! Yikes! 9 pounds total since Monday morning. Bit extreme.

                    Meant to add... if you've never made the "Oopsie" rolls, you need to. Very induction friendly, very tasty, and a great bread substitute.

                      Hi all. Boy it's been a while since I posted here. The pork chops sound wonderful. I may just try them! I made a nice corned beef brisket last night and it was really good.

                      I am so tired today because I've been kept up the last 3 nights by leg cramps. So I read my DANDR and saw that I need minerals for it. Dumb me, I had stopped taking my vitamins but Ive learned my lesson now. LOL

                        Still hanging in on day 3. WOW Paul 9 lbs im down 5 lbs and IVe already decided I need to get rid of the scale. I cant walk in my bathroom without stepping on it and I know thats not a good thing for me to be doing.
                        The headaches is a lil better but deffinately still there. Im not sure why I am torturing myself with the cold turkey coffee withdraw, it just seems the way to go.
                        JUST DO IT :0)
                        alrighty now I must get motivated to get moving today, take the dogs out or sumpin its absolutlely beautiful here today

                            Morning all!

                            Got a new prescription from the dr. something I HAVE to take. I woke up feeling disgusting..vibrating all over and sick to my stomach. I made eggs with cheese and with the second bite, the first one came back to visit. To boot...I looked at the non-medicinal ingredients and guess what....right there second to last ingredient....freakin "sugar spheres". I REALLY hope this doesn't wreck everything!! HELP!

                            Everything has been so awesome and positive so far! Man why do they have to put sugar the dumbest things?!
