  • One more time............

    Like many others, I had success 5 years ago with losing 25 lbs. and have gained them all back and it's frustrating. I know Atkins works and I feel much better when I eat that way, but I need to know how some of you keep yourselves on track. I am not a big vegetable eater anyway and since I've restarted sooooo many times, the thought of eating another salad just is not appealing at all! I'm reading the book and induction info again and I know I want to do this, but have to figure out how to do it without eating so many vegetables!

    Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

    This is what I am doing....

    I have pureed veggies from the acceptable food list for Induction. I havel cooked some ground hanburger and mixed my veggie purees in with the meat with a little tomato sauce and seasoning. It's tasty and I know I am getting the vegetables in. I get tired of salads real quick. I also make a lot of different types of quiche add the purees to that as well. Plus you can make up alot at one time and freeze it.

      Thanks Kelly, Maybe I'll try what you're doing as I'm not sure I can look at another bowl of salad for awhile!

      We're close to the same weight/goals, so maybe having someone else will help. (Although I am starting today - so will be one day behind you!)

      How did you get the goals listed on the bottom of your messages?

      I am 5'9" and currently weigh 170 and would like to get to 145 then will decide if I want to go any lower, but first just want to get there!
