    Goodmorning,
    I'm Jess. I use to be here every single morning first thing. I use to bout live here while I was transforming my whole life, one day at a time. In the last 6 months I've been enjoying "endurance sport" and eating a totally different way. I limited my time and remarks because of this. In the process to banging a drum too long, trying to squeeze in a few additional events, I lost total control over my eating. Something I had hoped would really never happen again.

    I re-start today, very much like I did Aug 1, 2006. I slip right back into a way I was living. This saturday I will bike in a 35mi ride and then I will put the bike up for winter. I might use sports carbs that day. But for now, I return to get back to a lifestyle do so well at...A lifestyle I feel soooo good at. A way of eating that transforms me. I know it works, I know I can work it! That is my truth!

    Nice to see you so early this AM Jess! YEAH to a lifestyle that works!!

      Way to go, Jess!

      Mornin' everyone ... it's nice and chilly here (about 40 when I got up), but three miles on the treadmill warmed me up nicely ... hope everyone has a wonderful Atkins kind of day!

        Good morning everyone!

        I'm here, starting my day. Hard-boiling some eggs, and just ate some broccoli-hamburger-alfredo YUMM.

        My little boy is going on his first field trip that I'm not tagging along to by himself today I'm a little nervous to say the least... and it's to the zoo... So, hopefully, all will go well there.

        On a sad note, my dog ran away Saturday morning, we've been looking and calling everywhere non-stop and no luck
        She is a miniature pinscher and she is ADORABLE... I'm sure someone stole her and is being greedy...

        But, yeah, I went off this weekend, I was in the hospital with my friend and she had her baby and we ate hospital carbage food together, and it sort of carried into the rest of the weekend. But, I am back. Staying strong amidst the chaos right now.

        Hooray for this board for making me feel accountable, and for having somewhere to go to where people don't think you're "crazy" for doign Atkins.

        ***** FUNNY STORY ALERT *****

        Some girl, woman actually, at my work ACTUALLY said to me, "You know the only reason Atkins works is because it rearranges your insides so your food goes straight through, but when you're done, because everything's shifted your body can never digest normal food again."

        I looked at her, and didn't even want to dignify that with a response... so I said simply, "Wow."

          Morning Jess!! How funny that we are both re-starting on the same day

          Hi everyone

          I used to be here first thing everyday too (actually middle of the night your time!).

          I was doing really well and half way to target when my father was taken critically ill. I stuck to plan for about five weeks and then stopped (for lots of reasons) and six months down the line am completely out of control with my eating and two pounds heavier than my previous start date. Atkins is the only thing that works for me and puts me in control of my eating.

          I have re-started this morning and am on a strict 14 day induction.

          I look forward to seeing some of the old faces and some new ones too.

            Hi guys! Good morning. I just finished my first week of induction and I'm already down -9 Lbs. I've also lost 6 inches in different places. I am very excited! I can already tell a difference around my waist. Good job on those who've started induction again. I can relate to the whole "people don't understand Atkins so they bash it thing". I still haven't told my extended family. I got bombared last time when I went on Atkins on how horrible it was for my body and I will have a heart attack...blah blah blah. Just wait till they start noticing I'm thinner. Hahaha! They can stay fat...I'm not going to be!!!! Have a great day!!!

              Morning all!!

              After a week off - back to the gym I go! I am pretty anal when it comes to routine, schedules, etc.. Although I had such fun being on vacation, I did not enjoy "winging it" I missed the gym!!!

              Body combat today - can't wait to kick some air I think I'll run a couple miles beforehand - seriously missed my out of breath cardio. We walked for hours on end while on vacation, but being at sea-level and not at my regular high altitude, it never seemed like enough.

              So glad to be home!

                Hi all. I haven't checked in here for quite a while although I've been on the board everyday.

                I'm glad to see some people getting back on track and wish them the best of luck and speed. And it's nice to see some new faces too.

                I'm doing fine and exercising more than ever which is wonderful because I love the feeling I get when I'm strong.

                  Good morning everyone! an unusual turn of event changed my off day, so I was off today instead of tomorrow, so I hit the gym early! I hardly ever get to do that. Did some bargain maxing at CVS (love those ECBs) and came home and cooked hubby and I sausage and eggs. He gets english muffins! So now I am all totally charged up to clean house. It is quite nippy here, very cool and invigorating!

                  Yay for resisting temptation and doing the right thing for our bodies and minds!

                    helloooo!

                    I'm off work early, dying from cramps. every once in awhile, TOM knocks me on my behind, and today's the day. I haven't given into any of the weird cravings I've had over the past few days, and I'm feeling motivated to start getting my outer stuff in order now that the inner stuff is more straightened out.

                    colleen, your kids are soooo cute!
