    GOOOOOOD Morning!

    I feel awesome today! I lost almost 2 pounds over night! I know it's because I hardly ate yesterday though, because I was rushing around everywhere... but, I can still get excited

    I hope everyone is having a great week!

    I'm curious if anyone has yet to weigh-in for this week, today would be everyone who only weighs once-a-week's day to weigh right??

    I'm here.

    I do my official weigh ins on Fridays, sneak a peak occasionally in between. I am staying on 176 but clothes are much loser and I expect a whoosh soon. My waist has gone from 36 to 34, and I just re-started Dec. 26!! Best of luck to the rest of you, don't give up!!

        G'morning STACers! I've weighed twice this week, but tomorrow will tell what my final loss this week is. I've lost 4.6 lbs so far, and that's pretty amazing, so I'll be happy as long as it's there or below!

        As part of re-starting induction this time, I've vowed to try to drink 64 oz. of water a day. I've been able to do that easily enough, but MAN am I tired of getting up to pee 2-3 times a night. I feel like I'm not as well rested in the morning, I'm used to sleeping the whole night through. I saw it as a triumph when I only had to go once last night!

        Tonight will be my first night eating out since re-starting, but I've already looked up the menu online and know what I'll be ordering. It will be hard saying no to the frozen mojitos, but not as hard as starting all over again!

          Hello STACing Friends! Judy, way to go going from 36 to 34! Plsmachic, you are melting away!! Mimom, I'm glad you're feeling good today and congrats for making it four days! Doeskin- good luck tonight, you are doing so well!!

          I'm here and feeling pretty good today! My appetite has gone WAY down though! Yesterday I struggled to get in 700 calories and today with what I had for breakfast and lunch and then what I have planned for dinner I will only be at about 600! My ratios are fine but do you think I need to up my general food intake or is this fine? Atkins has always been an appetite suppresant for me but never this much! I am torn between thinking this is a good thing and thinking I need to eat a bit more...I would appreciate any thoughts!

            I have to be doing something *very* wrong. I haven't eaten anything off plan this week, yet something is making me go up. a few lbs AND INCHES. to say I'm upset is an understatement. it could be TOM water retention, but ugh. I should go back to induction for a few days and see if it fixes anything.

              Morning Everyone

              Today I'm starting my 2nd week on induction and I'm going strong!
              While all signs indicated I was fully in ketosis, I had to get the ole sticks out to check last night. I love seeing that silly stick change colour!!

              My goal - to drink more water. I'm definitely craving water, but just not drinking as much as I should. I was really proud of myself at work yesterday... I kept a water bottle with me at my desk and never once felt the need to go and get a diet coke (I know... stay away! I'm down to about 2 a day which is great for me... really want to eliminate them all together... wish me luck!). So... that's my goal today... more water!

              Doeskin - I really like this statement! So true!! The last time I was on plan I had lost over 50lbs then ate some Bday cake (mine )... over the course of 1.5 years I couldn't get back... it was so hard! I'm just glad I found the motivation to be here now. I know this board has helped!

              Steady = are you in OWL? Have you introduced something new (yet still on plan)? Let us help!! Apart from that I'd suggest just hanging in there until after TOM passes and see what happens. Like you said, it could just be water retention because of TOM. Darn TOM! We're here for you!

                Good morning all! Today is my official 1st week weigh-in. I started Jan 1st, right after pigging out on a New Years Eve Seafood Dinner. And the results are great. I lost 7 lbs! Guess all those workouts 5-7 days really helped out! Now it's on to week 2. Gotto keep the momentum going. Have a great day everyone.

                    Good Morning STAC'ers,

                    I had trouble eating yesterday. I was super busy and forgot about lunch until 3:30 pm. I panicked and stopped to get salads for dinner. I strongly suspect that the dressing may have had some carbs but I am not going to dwell on it. After I got home and ate my chicken salad I decided I needed more fat so I had 3 deviled eggs with bacon (to counter the effects of the possible sugar). I am still in ketosis so I must be ok.

                    I usually try to keep emergency foods in my car but it is -30'F for the last week or so and everything would freeze.

                    I need to plan ahead specially on my busy days. I am keeping a note book of everything I eat. I think that has been my problem not keeping track. I hate to use the online food diary's- they are too time consuming and I already feel like I spend to much time on the computer. If I don't have my notebook because I am out I use my blackberry to store the info on my calendar/time.

                    Today is another busy day. I get to have xrays to see how my fusion is progessing and I get to see my surgeon. Then later I have to take my dog to the vet and tonight I have club dog training. I will eat and drink my water just the same though.

                      Hello All...I'm back in the saddle also. I was away for awhile. I was eating close to being on plan during the holidays (but more like maintainence) so I didn't lose anything. I have since dropped back to induction and have vowed to only weigh myself once a week.

                      I will update my stats on Sunday with my new info. Can't wait to get to goal.

                        I would be careful with the low calorie count. I have noticed when I get below 1200 calories a day my weight loss stalls. It is because your body goes into 'starvation' mode. It hords everything you eat.

                          Hey, everyone! I never seem to have time to get on here in the morning. In my class, my students are always at their academic best in the morning. I usually take a few minutes during quiet time to check in.

                          To all who lost - Congratulations! That's awesome. I won't weigh in until Monday.

                          Amy - The drop in appetite always happens to me, too. Don't worry. It'll pick up soon, especially if you exercise!

                            Hello fellow STACers. I realized yesterday that my food yearnings have decreased . My son brought home an Italian assorted sub and Reese's ice cream bars. I looked at that bread and thought about those bars, but I was able to resist the temptation.

                            Been on Induction for one week. Down 6 pounds and need to keep motivated. ADBB definitely helps me. Glad to hear others are doing well. Also glad to hear the struggles and advice because I'll be struggling in the coming weeks, too. Stay on plan and drink water!
