Hi all. Returning loser here (of weight that is), at least I'm trying to convince myself. It's been a year of non-stop GAINING. I'm up 25 lbs from this time last year, after having successfully lost 70 lbs, and having maintained for a year. Now, I can't seem to stop gaining. I've started over an over again, and after about a month of induction, I don't see more than a 2 lb result. And if I fall off the wagon for just 1 day (usually from alcoholic beverages at a special occasion) I'll gain like 5 lbs - only 3 will come and the remaining 2 stay around to accumulate in my failure.
I began my weight gain when I quit smoking, a 20 year habit and addiction. Then I discovered a chocolate addiction. Then I don't know what but I remember re-starting over and over and not getting results. I figured this just won't work for me anymore, and maybe my body is on to me and won't cooperate. So I've been on an off of low-calorie diets. I swear I was eating under 1200 calories a day for 2 weeks and didn't lose a pound.
I recently started over again...even have a couple of girls at work doing it. It's great for support and because there's a never-ending supply of pork grinds at all times. The newbies are seeing results. They didn't read the book, they just come to me for all the do's and don'ts. Meanwhile, the veteran here can't lose a pound. what's wrong with me? why can't i kick start this thing? I only need to lost the 25 I gained. Why does it seem so hard. I'm a month into already and see no results at all....
so frustrated, and i don't want to leave the WOL.
