    217 was so bad for me that I went back up to 218 on purpose just to skip down to 216. For those of you that have read the Left Behind series, you know the evil behind 216.

      Ahhh, but TJ... Julie (I believe) and I are moving into our 5th week on plan SO I for one am determined to believe that I'm moving past the little "stall" I've had for the last 1.5 weeks. Julie wrote that she's weighing in tomorrow and I suspect good things for her... she may even beat me to 215!!

          hello, late check in for me. hubby and i just finished making the low carb pizza from linda's website. yum! a few years ago, before we were married and i lived on my own i would make it sort of often and i look back and laugh because i had practically no kitchen supplies or utensils haha. it is a much easier process now that i have a mixer, measuring cups, etc. anyways..it was a great treat tonight. i've been keeping my cheese intake really in check so i figured this would be okay today! alright have a good evening!

            Yes Vickie- lets have do it.

            I have the feeling I am getting PMS again! SO I probably will not see the scale move. But it is just water and it will flush out sooner than later.

            I plan on seeing my MD this week. My knee is giving me all kinds of problems. I have been thinking it will get better but it seems to be worse. I think I may have a tear in my ACL now. Just the weird way it feels and looks. I refuse to have any more surgery so I am hoping that she can send me to a ortho or fit me for a brace.

            I just bought a used Wii. I have been looking on craiglist and found a deal with extras. I will hook it up tonight and give it a try. I will be looking for Wii fit and Wii rock band in the coming weeks. I am so excited. I wanted the boxing, tennis and other fun games. I thought instead of poker parties we can have Wii parties.

            Tonight is chicken alfredo with mushrooms and zuchini for me (noodles for the carb lovers).

              New here....but not new to Atkins. Anyone know whether there is a difference between the first time you do the two week induction (say 95% good with slips being pretty low carb, but over 20 carbs in the day) and the next two weeks if you behave yourself as you should during induction????

                If you are doing over 20 carbs a day and 95% good with low carb slips, you aren't doing Atkins. We are all here to support you, but there is no "sugar coating" on a low carb site. Welcome, looking forward to taking the journey with you.

                  Hmm....point missed, I'm afraid! I know 95% isn't good - very familiar with that. I'm really looking for any comments on the effectiveness when you aren't perfect the first 14 weeks vs. a second try.
