  • Ok guys - here I am...

    I am back.... no I haven't really gained anything - I was stuck at 137 forever and then went on a total binge so right now I am back on induction as it has been awhile. I think I'm about 145 but I haven't gotten on the scale in a few days.

    No - it's not a huge weight gain - but I am planning on having a tubal reversal soon and I want to be at a very ealthy weight in case I end up getting preg. I was denied because of my weight last time (186) but now different Dr and different circumstances so I am thrilled.

    So - daily check in again..... just had a muffin in a minute to get going. I've dropped caffeine - and haven't dropped sodas yet (I have 1 more in the fridge - LOL) but I'm heading out to the store for some flavored water for me (sorry I really just can't stand the null taste of water - even though I love the water from my well - just doesn't do anything for me right now)

    My 1 indulgence I'm not giving up is heavy cream in my coffee.... I have decaf chocolate flavored coffee which is just super yummy and I love it. So I'll deal with that.

    I need to start walking again - and I plan to do that starting tomorrow. 20 minutes a day is my goal..... and sit ups and all that jazz...

    I'll get there and stay there!! I'd love to be 125 but I just want to fit into all the pairs of jeans in my closet - LOL

      You know stalls/hesitations happen a lot with this program and it's unfortunate as it's very frustrating. BUT, the thing is, it just happens some time and it's not because your doing something wrong or right, it's like your body is taking a break. We have a goalie on this site who stalled for 6 months just before she made goal. SHe tried everything to break the stall, and finally one day, the weight started to come off again, she made goal and 5 years later she is still there.
      I know you get frustrated but it might help if you tell yourself how healthy you are and that eating carbs will only make it worse.

        No it was more the holidays than anything - not the fact that I wasn't losing - I was happy at the 137 No arguments from me!!! So then 1 binge led to another which led to another and another - 1 cheat won't hurt attitude.... now I sit at 148... so I'll be back to weighing myself everyday - it makes me think and remember what I am doing. Just need to get the bloat feeling outta me!!!

          Welcome back! I hear ya on that one cheat leads to another. Why most of us are back here trying it all over. Hopefully with each other's support and making oneself accountable, history won't repeat itself once again! I know how I feel when I am thinner: energy, self esteem, you name it ! It all overflows into the rest of your life in ways you wouldn't imagine. We've all felt it and trying to work ourselves back to it! I for one, want to stay there this time for no one else but me!
