    Morning everyone! checking in and didn't see a thread for today, so figured I would start. Just plugging along and hoping to up my veggies today... Hope everyone has a great Fat Tuesday! Lent will be a challenge for me on Fridays, as I am Catholic and do follow the no meat Fridays... Have a terrific on plan day!

    Hi. Checking in for the first time. I'm only 2 days in. Lent will be hard. Tonight will be hard since my kids are having big ice cream sundaes before giving up ice cream and chocolate for lent. I think for Fridays I'm going to get boca burgers because there's no meat but few carbs. I can't do just veggies and cheese. I might do fish once or twice but I'm not very good at preparing it.

    I'm trying to dig deep this time and get myself on track. Today is my first big test--I work today and there is always food flying around I'm trying to focus on today only and not get distracted by the entire task before me.

      Guess we're off to a late start this morning! I am back to my ticker weight (so 1 down from last week) and happy but sad at the same time because I was so good this week. I have a feeling hidden sugar must have done me in...anyways...I'll just be extra careful from now on! Is is nice and sunny here...no snowstorm today! Yippee! Have a great day everyone!

        Morning everyone!

        It's somewhat early here on the west coast and I'm getting ready for work... feeling good and eating left over chicken for breakfast. I love good leftovers for breaky!

        I checked my weight this morning and, while I'm still officially 210, the scale read 209.8... so that means 209 is coming soon!!! As you can imagine, 209 and her sisters 208, 207, etc. are welcome any time!!

          I'm checking in early today as I don't go to work for another 2 or 3 hours. I feel better today, not so bloated. Could be the water!! I'm had two boiled eggs, 3 bacon this morning. Taking a hamburger patty and some veggies with me to work. Wow, I sure do eat a lot!!

              Hey Vickie! "while I'm still officially 210, the scale read 209.8" what kind of scale do you own! mine only does half pounds and I could go for more decimal places than that!!!

                Good morning everyone.

                First roll call for me too. Got up and went to the gym. The whole gym experience is quite new to me - 4 months now? Anyhow, I still feel it isn't a 'habit' yet. I splurged on a personal trainer and I would really suggest that to anyone. He is great and it means I have a committment to someone else which gets me out the door. Funny how those committments to others are more motivating that committments to myself. Did 1 hour of weights - lower body and abs. Tomorrow is my cardio day.

                Breakfast - 2 scrambled eggs with a slice of ham chopped up. And coffee. Yes, I know coffee isn't technically allowed. But I can live with everything else, but I need my coffee in the morning and afternoon - just the 2 cups, but I do need it.

                BUT the big thing I'd like to tell you all is that I made it through last night (end of Day 1 induction!) - oh, that's big for me. Usually popcorn or licorice or peanut butter cookies or chocolate or who knows what else drives me crazy in the evening. I usually fail in the evenings. Last night I made it through on willpower, but that won't always work so I need to come up with some evening 'plans.'

                      day 1 of induction down. I'm being SUPER careful, even measuring veggies again instead of eyeballing. I can't wait for the energy to kick in, I'm SO tired!

                          Hi everyone! February is flying by, isn't it? I haven't lost any more weight so far this year, but I'm maintaining, so I'm happy with that. If my set weight is 149-150 and not my original goal of 140, then I'm okay with it. Beats 187 lbs., for sure! Go Atkins ... w00t

                              Happy Tuesday STAC'ers.

                              I had a good day yesterday. I got a lot accomplished and it feels good. I did make the heroin wings only I also made boneless wings and real wings. My hubby loved them and so did my daughter (yes hubby is home finally). They came out very crispy- when they came out of the oven they looked soggy but after sitting for a few minutes the butter/fat soaked right back in. I am a bug buffalo flavor person so I had to make some jalapeno ranch to dip mine in. But they were very good and totally different.

                              Today I have a crazy busy day. It will be a challenge to get all done that I need to. Hopefully I can move some of it to tomorrow.

                              My goals today are: drink 3 liters of water (I will be out of the house all day so I will have to take it with me), get my work done, drop off the prescriptions (I have a bunch between myself, hubby, and my daughter), and exercise at the gym tonight with hubby.
