    Morning all! Having a tough time. Nothing is producing results. My refrigerator is full of "plan" food but I'm wondering what the plan for me is. I have increased the weight lifting and found my step counter again. I'm going to aim for at least 10,000 steps today. I feel like my body is giving me the finger. Just keep telling myself to pay the price and this WOL will pay me back. It owes me big time now though.

    My laptop is dying a slow death, I think. If I disappear from the radar, it's because I'm have trouble just getting it to power on. If it does turn on, it likes to overheat and die quickly. Can't tell you how many posts I've been in the middle of when this has happened and I've just lost them. Frustration abounds....

        HI everyone-still here. I know this can be frustrating...I did 2 weeks of Induction and still nothing.Here we are again on day 3 and I can't help but wonder (for the women)-not to exclude T.J of course...BUT!! Even though I KNOW we are not suppose to count calories-can anyone share what they are taking in everyday from fit day? I just think it must be tied to that and I am having close to 1700 calories which to me seems like it is too much for a woman trying to lose weight. I do walk 3 times a week but am by NO means an exercise machine! Everyone have a great day! I am here for the whole 2 weeks before I become really frustrated again. Good day! Cara

          Hi everyone,

          Don't know what's going on but I like it, lost another pound!!

          Cara, I usually eat around 1200 to 1500 calories a day. I am very short and can't handle more than that. If I eat less than 1200 calories, I don't lose any weight at all. My appetite is naturally less than it used to be, so I automatically take smaller portions. Be sure to keep your fat content up there though, and don't expect massive amounts of fast weight loss, slow and steady wins the race!!

            Good morning everyone!

            I've made it through 3 whole days so far. I'm down almost 5 pounds, but that's because I ate takeout all weekend so I'm sure it's just water weight. Yesterday was hard!!! I work at the catholic school where my kids attend. Well, they had a bake sale to celebrate fat tuesday. Then last night my kids were total piggies and had huge ice cream sundaes with everything since they are giving up sweets for lent.

            Today will be hard because I was up all night with my son (he has breathing problems) and I struggle when I'm tired and feeling blue (about my son). I have to find something to satisfy me today. Unfortunately, it's ash wednesday so no meat. Ugh.

            Good luck today everyone! And a blessed Ash Wednesday to those who celebrate the Lenten season!

                  Good morning all. No movement on the scale this week, but I guess it's better than gaining! Haven't been working out much because of my sore achilles tendon! We're leaving on our cruise tomorrow, so I won't be signing in till we get back March 10. I'm intending to do lots of walking and maybe even hit the gym on board a few times, if I can. Have a good couple of weeks everyone!

                      Good morning everyone! Congrats to Zarabelle on onederland, that's a great accomplishment. Cara, just stick with the plan, and it will work - you don't have a large amount to lose, so small losses are a good thing. Just don't get in a hurry, and it will happen for you. I'm always happy to see a 1 pound loss, and I've got plenty of them still hanging around waiting for their turn I'm kinda stuck so far this week, but I'm OK with that.

                      I'm planning on hitting the water hard today, hope you all have a great day!

                        Hang in there, Everlosing. You will see results in the end. You said you have increased your weight training and that may be why you aren't seeing results just yet. Muscle weighs more than fat so you might just be replacing one with the other. And that's good because muscle burns fat, so just keep at it and you will be surprised at the results. Don't give up!

                            Just checking in. Made it through Day 2 induction and through another evening without carbs. Looking forward to seeing those strips turn purple tomorrow. Have big headache.

                            Not sure if my induction will count as 'clean' though. I am clinging to my coffee - 2 cups a day.

                              Good Afternoon, All! I didn't get a chance to check in this morning because the network here at work was down.
                              I beat the stomach bug and resisted the natural urge to eat a few saltines while I was sick. I stuck with clear broth, diet ginger ale, and water...I'm more hydrated than ever right now, but holding a lot of the water due to the high sodium in the broth I think. Water weight doesn't bother me though...just a number on the scale that can easily be changed. I weighed in today at 295.0 as opposed to the 294.8 from yesterday, so I feel like I own it now. That puts my Induction total (since Jan 29th) at 24 pounds, and my overall loss (including the two weeks before Induction when I just ate "better") at 29. I really want to hit (and own) a 30 pound loss. Then I can reset my workout and my goals.
                              One month on the program comes for me on Saturday. 1 more pound and I lost 25 in a month...and that would be AWESOME!!! Here's hoping! Furthermore, it would put me back into the lead in The Biggest Loser.
