    Good afternoon everyone, our training exercise is finally over and I am beat. I should be back to posting more often now. I was at 203 between shifts this morning, no sleep schedule during the training, so I really don't have night and morning weights for this week.

    Everlosing, I am slowwwwwly creeping back towards wonderland, still wanna take you there with me. Time to up the cardio or cut back more carbs. Vickie and Julie are barely a handful of pounds behind us. Let's get going!

      Happy HUMP day STAC'ers

      I can't believe it is Wednesday already. I am so burried in work right now and "office" politics. I just had a 1 hours rant from my poor manager. We are all working harder and harder with more restrictions. The idea of changing jobs has crossed my mind a few times but with the struggling economy it is not a realistic option. So we just have to take it. Plus I know things will slow down towards then end of May and I will feel different then.


      Yesterday was busy and today will also be busy. I have a lot of work to do. My goals for today are to:
      • drink 3 liters of water (not even 2 yesterday), maybe go to the gym (yesterday Hubby had to visit a friend who hurt his back so we didn't go). I was so sore from all my work work yesterday I probably couldn't have gone any way.
      • Go to the market and clean out the fridge before dinner. I also need to look up some recipes and get a food plan before going to the market.
      Congrats to the loosers, Hang in there to the strugglers, and Well done to the inductionerS.

        Hi Everyone

        I'm thinking about cookies today... I don't really want them, but I'm thinking about them. Yep. I love, love, love sugar cookies! But they don't love me

        BUT... as of today I'm 55 days cheat free and I plan on staying that way!!

        Overall, I'm feeling pretty good. Still weighing in at 210 - 3 days now so to coin a term from NewToAtkins, I feel like I "own" that weight!! Thing is... I don't want to own it for long! Come on 209!!! And I don't want to plateau at 209 like TJ and Everlosing did. I don't want to own 209 - I want to slide on down to 208 and then down and down and down again!!

        Cara and Everlosing - hang in there friends!! I'm thinking about you!

          Well, turns out having a totally clean induction does matter! I have been following the book from 1996, where Dr Atkins says you can use whatever you want to get your 20 carbs, so I had been having nuts, carbsmart, lots of cheese etc. But I had lost 1 inch and no addition pounds since th 2 lb water weight loss in the first day or so, and since it seems everyone on the board seems wary of those products in induction, I figured I would try to cut down the cheese, cut out the nuts/carbsmart and re-do induction. That was yesterday. I broiled a package of hamburgers and ate 2 for lunch. Come dinner, I thought, I'll just have those last 2 hamburgers. My stomach was hurting a bunch since I'm not used to eating 1.4 lb of meat in a day lol but today I jumped on the scale and I lost a pound!! So I am going to continue being very careful and hope for continued losses. It seems, for me at least, that calorie amounts don't matter, just carbs, because I'm 5'2" and probably ate over 2000 calories yesterday (burgers got alot of calories) and lost a pound. But everyone is different.

            Hello, all! Checking in late after a long day. I don't know what's wrong with me today, I am just so tired. For me, that is totally unusual as most the time I have a lot of energy. I am still sticking to plan faithfully, drinking my water, and everything that I should. I stayed with my Dad and Mom today, came home and kept my 2 year old granddaughter. She is a handful and keeps me hopping. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day. Good luck everybody!
