    Hi Everyone! Sounds like yesterday was a mix of loss and no loss which I know is common! Last week I bought that jumbo bad of shredded cheddar and must have left it on my counter the other day as I think my Weimaraner stole it! He is a counter surfer and when I am trying to actually "cook" in the kitchen, I lose track and forget to put stuff back in the fridge... Maybe that is my sign that I am eating too much cheese. I have opted for the cream cheese dessert as my allotment every 3 or 4 days as it gets me by and keeps me "on plan"- I could eat a double portion of that! I do have a question... about FITday-has anyone found they have to enter things in manually? I went to put in string beans and the carb count (even minus the fiber) was much higher than my package said. Then I started to look and the measurements are the same from certain packages, but the carbs on fitday don't seem high. I actually find I am having to fake the oz. or general quantity to get the carbs right. Just wanted to see as vegetables are important for me to have the correct carb count as they are the primary source of carbs and with all of this hard work, heaven's knows I don't want to go over! Everyone have a great day! Even though I feel like I shouldn't, I am going to weigh in on Monday/halfway through induction and see if I had any sort of change this time-I would be happy with a pound!     I am sorry... i know nothing about fitday. I have been plugging my numbers into Spark People for now. And I think there numbers are high too. But the name of the company that makes the food is not the same. So that could be a big deal; one company might add sugar and the other doesn't.

    Still watching the numbers and feeling pretty good. My goal is to start back on induction on 3/2 - for now it has been a calorie/ maintain deal for me. I still have been sticking to some low carb numbers...about 36.

      Good morning everyone!

      Well, I cheated last night. I knew it was coming. Last night was ash wednesday (no meat) and the kids begged for potato pancakes. BUT, what's different today? I got up, weighed myself anyway and plugged it into fitday. I had my usual breakfast and planned my atkins food for the day. I JUMPED RIGHT BACK IN! That is new. And I had that awful feeling this morning--bloated, crazy stomach noises, bad breath--and I knew why and wanted to avoid it in the future.

      Maybe I'm finally turning a corner? Maybe I can at least see the corner !

        I have found some foods need to be verified and customized on fitday. I find it time saving to enter them as custom foods if it is something I buy or make often. Like you, if it is a couple of carbs, I change the portion size to match the package. Since we aren't counting calories then it is just easier that way. I also have fitday track the fiber so I can deduct those grams.

          Does everyone enter what they eat into fitday? I've just been logging my weight and putting in my exercise. Does it help that much? I kind of like that I don't have to track what I eat with Atkins like you do with weight watchers and such.

            I dont track in Fitday because I find I had too much customs to invent all the time. I just write everything down in a little notebook. Much easier...specially when I am on the go and not close to the computer!

              I put in stuff on fitday once in a while... Surely not everyday or even close to it. It's helpful to check your ratios on there once in a while to make sure you're doing them correctly though.

              But, to answer your question - I manually enter in my calories and fiber and fat grams all the time on there!

              I'm excited about my loss so far... I'm down to 162.8-163.2 (my scale couldn't make up it's mind this morning) and I wasn't planning on being that weight until the second week of March so I'm thrilled

              I'm gonna be getting some exercise in today cleaning a friend of mine's house. (It will be hard labor trust me... it's bad.)

                I am back down to 202 this morning. I am where I was last Friday before the epic wings and beer bash. I'm hoping to get a sniff of wonderland this weekend.

                I use fit day occaisonally for putting in foods. If I find myself not losing weight or God forbid gaining, I usually put foods in there for a few days to see what's going on. It's a great diagnosic tool. Sometimes I find my appetite has decreased so much that I am getting under 1000 calories. That hasn't been a problem lately though. I also like to track fiber because my HDL sucks. I try for 40 grams/day.

                  Just checking in. Had my official Biggest Loser weigh in today at work and have dropped (with clothes and shoes) to 296. That puts me at 23 pounds for the competition and about 28 or 29 overall. I know my ticker says 294, but that's in nothing but shorts. Either way, I'm winning and hit my goal of sub 300 by the end of the competition 4 weeks early. It's a good day.

                    Good morning all, just a quick check-in for me. Scales were down this morning must have done a good job pushing water yesterday. Also, my appetite is really diminished the last day or two. Already almost done with my first jug of water for today, looking hard for some good results before we leave on our cruise a week from Sunday!

                      Happy Thursday STAC'ers.... Thank God it is almost Friday.....

                      I am dragging butt this week. I am hoping I can take tomorrow off and have a 3 day weekend with Hubby. I can never get anything done as far as my job goes when he is home. I have another busy day but hopefully I can get all my Friday stuff done today as well as my Thursday stuff. I need a break. I am completely stressed out with my job.

                      My spine has been hurting daily around 4 pm. I am over doing it physically. I have been sending out a lot of samples and some of the box's are large and heavy. I think just carring themin & out of building is putting too much stress on my back. I still didn't make it to the gym.

                      To make things worse my scale says I am up 3...... It could be the sausage that I have had every day this week and lack of water. I am going to make a chicken omlette for breakfast and really carry my water with me. Yesterday I had a 20 0z sugar free breve around 2 pm so I probably went over on my cream as well.

                      I made the Chicken Enchilada Casserole from Linda's last night. My daughter made regular enchiladas that her and hubby ate. I thought it was pretty good. A little rich for me, next time I will use less cream cheese and more chile. Definately a keeper.

                      TJ- congrats at getting back to 202 Maybe you will make onederland this weekend.

                      DisneyJenny- great- you are living this WOL. When you start adjusting for what you put in the day before. Making the necessary choices following a splurge is ideal. you are definately getting there.

                      I used to do fit day- but like several people here it became to much of a chore to make custom foods. I don't have the time to enter everything. I keep track of everything on a small notebook. I also use my blackberry I can add notes when I am out. I am looking for a food journal for the blackberry that I can interface with my computer.

                        Hi everyone! just checking in. I'm at 152 and holding. I don't really have a lot of time on the computer, so I use fitday periodically, but daily I write in a journal. It's more convenient for me as I always have it in my purse. I am on day 11 of induction.. and down 6lbs. Feel great. Sprained my ankle last week, but have been able to do moderate exercising and lifting weights.

                            Morning Everyone

                            It's cold outside and it snowed last night!
                            I know I shouldn't complain since some of my STAC partners live in colder climates then I do (I'm thinking about you especially, Julie!)... but I want spring to hurry up and get here!

                            My weight hasn't changed throughout the week, but my pants are definitely getting looser I have a stack of pants and jeans that I'm bringing to the taylor this weekend that need to be taken in at the waist - I'm not quite fitting the next size down yet, I want to get more wear out of the pants I have AND it's cheeper to taylor them then it is to replace them! I'm not complaining... I think it's great that my pants are falling down! But it'll be better if they stay up for a little while longer

                            Yesterday was a struggle with my water, but today I'm doing pretty well... I find I'm really thirsty today so that helps alot!!

                            TJ - you're so close!! Looking forward to reading your "Woohoo!! I'm in one-derland!" statement soon!

                            Jon - that money reward - and the reward of weight loss - is yours!

                            Julie - I need to track down that Chicken Enchilada recipie... I love Mexican food!
