    You're absolutely right Guekjian - at least I'm not in Québec... or anywhere back east!!
    But remember I'm a lower mainland BC girl and I prefer the rain over the snow
    Also... our air is quite moist so when it gets cold like this (it was about -4C this morning) it really, really seeps into your bones! I used to live in Northern BC where -40C wasn't uncommon in the winter. Now THAT was cold... but it was a dry cold and that makes a difference!

    So... enough about weather... I told you I shouldn't be complaining!!

      Vickie, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the snow! I'd heard that it might snow, but figured that would be just for north van and inland areas. the fact that it's still stuck in the trees makes me think that it's COLD outside still! so weird.

        okay- I know you will probably give me grief for this but can someone tell me if the flax meal is allowed on induction? I have a recipe for that plus grated parm, water and a little garlic powder. Flax says carbs 4/fiber 4...per 2 tbs...

        This is a wash right (i.e.-Carb free?) don't want to screw up! Making it as "cracker" in the oven! Thanks for feedback!

          Hi, all! Well, I've come in to confess. I cheated today for the first time. I was at my parents, taking care of them, and had no food with me. I really need to go to the grocery store. Anyway, I ate 2 whole wheat crackers. It said 2 carbs apiece on them, so at least I didn't go over my limit. I was just feeling so sick, I had to have something. I am planning on stopping at the store in the morning on my way to their house because I don't want to be caught in that situation again. I'm still feeling weak and kind of nauseated so I hope I'm not getting the flu. Well, wish me well. Everyone, keep on losing and stay on the path.

            Flax is natural and legal. I wish I would have known about it sooner, or at least looked into it sooner. I had an awesome grilled turkey and swiss on flax bread a few nights ago. I have been having it in everything lately. I even put a tablespoon in a beer (not recommended). I add two tablespoons to every omlette now. I'm not much of a veggie guy, so my fiber intake has always been low. I'm good now and feel great. Plus, it's a great source of omega-3 fat.

              Hi All,

              Checking in at the end of the day. Seems like everyone is doing well.

              I went to the gym first thing this morning. 1 hour of weights and 30 minute walk-run after that. Didn't drink enough water for sure. Need to ge a bit more organized. Am in ketosis though! first day though - Day 4 of induction for me.

              Must run. No time today. S-
