Newtoatkins. That is unbelievable. Wow. Wow. Wow. Congratulations. What an incredible job you've done.
cpb: I hear you re: the pizza. Actually the whole reason I logged in again tonight was to tell you all that (drum roll)..... I resisted Pizza - it was presented for dinner (as you may recall, I don't cook in the household) and I ate leftovers from yesterday with 2 amazing pizzas sitting less than a foot away from me for over an hour. Yes, I didn't touch them. This pizza dinner is always the killer for me. This is a real first. wooo hooo.
By the way, I credit the challenge and not my willpower so much. Once I've set those goals down for all to see - well, it's more powerful somehow.
Alaskagirl: Can you please tell me where I can find that recipe for the cheesecake muffins? Thanks kindly.

Howdy, all! I really can't remember how much I lost in my first month, but today, at the end of 2 months, I have lost 23 pounds. I was thinking about moving on to OWL but I'm not sure if I want to do that yet. I still need to lose another 38 pounds. Also, I read about OWL in DANDR, and it says that the weight loss will be slower. I just wonderif I up my carbs a 5 more grams if it will help me. I hardly ever have 20 grams a day. Today, I upped my veggies so I hope that will help. Congrats, everyone on your losses. TJ, way to go for getting to onederland. Cara, good luck on your trip and hang in there.
Hello Everyone!
I had a good day other than the tornado warnings we stayed under most of the time. I'm sticking to induction foods so far hoping to get off to a good start. My first week will be up Monday and I hope I won't be disappointed. I'm keeping my fingers crossed but it's a little scary, isn't it? I want to lose weight so badly. At least I guess I'm still motivated. lol
T.J., I'm running hard to catch up to you. GREAT JOB!!!
Judy, you are definitely doing something right. You must be very active -- do you ride that horse in your avatar? I'm in a bordering state to TN and I have horses also. I love your ticker and I've got to find out how to get one like that.
Hoping for snow tomorrow in the deep south. Are there carbs in snow??? lol

Here you go. I had posted it on the dessert forum.
4 large eggs
12 oz soft cream cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup sugar free caramel syrup
1/2 splenda
Using a mixer- mix the cream cheese- add in eggs and then the sour cream- scrape the sides of the bowl while mixing (I had the mixer on high). I added the vanilla, sugar free carame (you could use what ever flavor you like), and splenda.
Spray Pam on silicone muffin pans. I used 2 sets of six and filled them about 3/4 full.
Bake in the oven at 350 for 30 minutes

Hi everyone. I wish I could say I lost a lot this month but that didn't happen. I probably only lost 2-3 pounds. More importantly though, I went from being totally off plan--food, exercise and water--to bringing myself back to the WOE. I wasn't perfect, but I am closer each day to being totally back on track. For now, that's enough!

Alaskagirl - thanks so much for taking the time to re-post it here. I'll definitely give it a try. Need to locate the syrup. Hopefully by then, you'll let us know about the splenda - 1/2 what? It can't be cup - too much I think. Can you freeze some of these?
Chinadoll. I'm in the same boat as you. I've been stuck at this weight since December and I lost 3 pounds in the last week with re-doing induction, joining the board again and pushing myself out the door more to the gym. Let's keep it going. I think this peer-to-peer support is a really important part of it. And mostly, on the good days, we are ok, but on the bad days - that's when the support is so critical.
See you all later. Must get children in to bed and prepare for tomorrow.
