    Congrats to NewtoAtkins & Mrs. Hartzell....you both deserve a round of applause.

    I think I am back to basics now... I am on firm ground and sticking to the plan as of Thurs. morning. I think going to the gym and swimming on Wed. put me in the right frame of mind. I stepped on the scale and it said 219 lbs. Granted that is up...but I must pay for my mistakes. I am okay with it & it just means I have to swim some more this weekend.

    My daughter and I are off to buy a dress for the Butterfly Ball coming up on the 21st. Her father is taking her to her first formal dance...I cant wait to get pictures fo the two of them together.

        Funny you mention about the wedding ring...when I got mine it was a little loose. Before I started Atkins it was fitting well...now if my hands get cold it slips right off. My wife is torn on whether to be happy about this or not. Ha!
        Hopefully I get into the 280s by the end of the weekend...my 280s is your 170s. Well done!

          Boy am I glad the board is up and running again. I was getting worried!

          I'm finally over the flu and anxious to start exercising again. I have an adult birthday party to go to tomorrow night but I don't expect it to be a problem.

            Hello!! Just checking in quickly! If there's nothing else in the world to embrace and be happy about....I sure am delighted it's FRIDAY!! I feel like I wasted some time last weekend and it's time to make up for that this weekend. Feeling great and so on plan. Hoping the whooshie fairy is ready to make a stop this way. She has neglected my efforts for far too long!

                  Hello Everyone - it's late on Friday (11:30pm), but I'm here!
                  Soooo glad that the site is back up. I checked this afternoon and it was still down for me.

                  I'm happy Weighed this morning at 208.8 - so I'm claiming 209! I'm very, very hopeful that the 208.8 reading means that I'll see 208 soon and that the 209 curse will just pass me by!! Well... except I sat at 210 for a good week - then had that stupid 2 pound gain earlier this week! But with 209 on the scale I'm willing to ignore the past

                  I'm glad the weight is coming off because apart from sticking really well to plan, I'm not doing much to help things along = water intake has been rotten and I'm not doing much exercise at all! I need to re-commit to those two things. This weekend I'm doing a lot of painting at my client's condo and I find that I get a good workout from that. It's a start.

                  Might be too busy to check in tomorrow... but I'll do my best!
