Re: Pick up a five pound bag of sugar/flour

That is a great way to put pounds lost in perspective. When you are thinking that a five pound loss over two weeks is not enough, pick up a 5-pound bag of sugar or flour and you will feel how heavy it really is. If after a month or two, and you are moaning that "all" you have lost is 25 pounds, do the same thing. Pick up a 25 pound kid or a sack of potting soil and carry it around for just a couple of hours, and you will see how tired your arms and legs are from carrying that extra 25 pounds. Your knees will thank you for each and every pound.
People who say it can't be done, should not interrupt those doing it.
