    Good morning STACers!

    Hope everyone sees pleasant numbers on the scale today. I got the majority of the housework done yesterday. Today I have to find all of my daughter's stashed laundry. She is real good about putting her dirty laundry under her bed, behind her TV, in her toy box, and everywhere else it shouldn't be. It's amazing how children can find hiding places in a 12 x 12 room that a normal person can't find.

    I slacked on my water yesterday, but the scale seems to be moving. I went up about 4 pounds when I started working out, and 3 of them have gone away despite working out every day. I'm sure it's water retention like everyone said. I guess I'm losing the fat behind the water. It's just depressing at the mid point of the month to see that I'm up pound through the middle of the month despite working out harder than I ever have.

    Down another pound, I sure have to fight for each pound now! I just tell myself now that each pound is a larger percentage of 'me' than it was when I started! Still feeling amazing though, and that is what it is all about. I need smaller workout clothes, woohoo! I bought a new suit for the pool... the one I like comes in Large, Med, not number sizes. Well the lg is a bit on the loose side but not too bad... I could WEAR the med but hey, who wants a tight suit to exercise in? So I bought both! So in swimsuits, I am a med and a half! lol

      Momtomany, those in between sizes stink, don't they??? I'm falling out of a 14 right now and tight in a 12. It's very frustrating.

      TJ, Monday morning is my Weigh Day so I hope to have good news to report. This week I have tried to get my carb numbers closer to 20 than the 15 that they were for the prior two weeks.

      I have a dial scale instead of a digital so my readings aren't real accurate and can tend to frustrate me. Oh, well.

      I'm doing Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover and a new digital scale just isn't in the budget and I can't convince myself that it's something I need or something that is going to improve my life.

        Hello all! Have more to do today than can be accomplished so I'm going to be lazy here and copy and paste what I put in my journal last night.

        The whole ONEderland thing....I was so tunnel vision about it, I left out the rest of the story! When I hit ONEderland, I also knocked my butt outta the obese category!! FINALLY...I am just overweight!! Really? I had no idea. Fat on this body?? No way. It's an intentional disguise to keep the masses of men away from me!! LOL!! So, along with exiting the obesity category comes entering a body mass index of 20-something. Nice. Goal seems......not soooo far away. Speaking of goal, I'm almost half way there. Two and a half pounds from half way to goal!! It's been a good day. My self esteem needed the boost I felt today! I struggled with the scale for the last month and I actually feel like my discipline is beginning to pay me back! I'd feel discouraged walking the long walk to my office every morning but I'd tell myself to stick with it and this WOL would pay me back and pay me back, it did!

        Yay! Now, onto tackling the next 10 pounds!!

              Happy Sunday STAC'ers

              I had another great day yesterday and expect to have a similar one today. Hubby left for a day or two (he is only a couple fo hours away working). My house is clean, I have plenty of food and the sun is bright.

              Yesterday I made the Chicken and Mushroom Sauce from Linda's site
              Linda's Low Carb Menus & Recipes

              It was a huge success- my family loved it. I also finally made a cheesecake. I tweaked the crust a little. I used coconut,pecans, and almond meal with butter instead of what the recipe called for
              Linda's Low Carb Menus & Recipes it was also a huge hit.

              Today I will might make vegi soup again. I will put some bacon or sausage in it to make it Atkins friendly. I like having it in the fridge to heat & serve when I am hungry.

              No plan today yet- hopefully another great day Ketosis is great.

              TJ I know exactly what you are talking about LOL when my daughter was younger her BFF told her about cleaning the room fast and that equated into hiding everything in the closet or under the bed. It used to drive me nuts. Now she is almost 16 and finally seems to have stopped. We just moved her room, cleaned out the old room completely. I did find some strange things but nothing to bad.

              Everloosing congrats BTW. You are doing great and inspiring me. I feel like I am going to be stuck here forever but I know I will eventually get there as well. THANKS

              Kelly I know what you mean. I don't really need a digital. Infact I am afraid it will say more and I don't want to see it either (depressing). My 20's are bagging off me. I haven't tired the few 18's I have left. I can't wait till I am in a 12-14 and can shop in the misses and not the womens.

              Momtomany congrats on the medium and a half. You are doing great. I have several sets of addias sweat suits. I purchased them every few months over the last year because I was most comfortable in them not for the gym but for wearing around the house. Now I only use them for exercise and cleaning. They fall around my hips/butt. At the gym I wear tights under them.

                  I said goodbye to my daughter today. We had a real nice visit over the weekend, but she's gone back to the beach. I won't see her again for another 3 months at least. I did manage to stick to plan, even though we got her a ice cream cake for her birthday. I didn't even stick my finger in the frosting. Yay. me!! I will miss her!
                  Tomorrow, I go back to my parent's to take care of them, so I've got to plan on what food to take with me. Hope everybody continues to do well.

                    Hey all! Had a super busy weekend with the family, horseback riding, zoo, park. I already have sooo much more energy, its unbelievable! The only problem Ive been having over the past couple days is that - IM NOT HUNGRY AT ALL. Like, I have to force myself to eat. Its nice not to be hungry all the time, but it's also kinda scary. And I made the Just Like Stuffed Baked Potato from Lindas Low Carb and I LOVE IT! So did my DH! YUM! Hope everyone had a great weekend. Back to the grind tomorrow. Poo.

                      Good Evening.. I forgot I didn't post here today.. Today was weigh day..and I am down 12lbs! I think some of that was TOM was visting last week so that is probably why I have such a high number.. But I will take it

                          Hey Everyone! Today I have had one of my re-occurring migraines. After a few hours of misery, I gave in and took an Excedrin Migrain dosage. I was better within an hour. Thankfully! Since then, it has been a great Sunday. We had an awesome wilted spinach salad from Linda's Recipe pages. My family was surprised I can eat that. Also, they have no idea I used Stevia in place of the sugar you would usually find in such a recipe. I am so glad to have recipes from there and this site also. Lifesavers!
