    Hi All!

    I'm back..have been away for quite awhile now. I started induction back in Feb and am down 16 lbs! I've been better about being true to the plan and have managed to get exercise started, so I'm doing good.

      Happy Monday STAC'ers

      I think I am sicker today than I was yesterday. I have a busy day but I think I can work from home completely. I may have to run an errand but I am hoping that I can put themoff till tomorrow.

      I have very little appetite (benefits of being ill combined with ketosis). I forced myslef to eat a little quiche.

      There used to be a post about scales/weighing and I am going to look for it. Any one who gets upset by the scale should read it.

      Jon I think part of living this wol is doing exactly what you are doing. Every once in awhile life happens and the most important thing is to get back to eating right. Don't beat your self up, just get back into induction for a few days and get back on track. Make this work for you- having some flexibilty will allow you to stay satisfied and on plan on the long run.

      TJ- I am glad you are out solving the national problems. I bet the cyber cops stole your post so some one on the inside can get credit for it... LOL You crack me up.

      I guess I will own up to the low carb tortilla I ate last night as well. My hubby made dinner. Steak, mushrooms, onions, king crab, salad etc. I was not hungry for steak (I am beefed out). So I took a lc tortilla out of his stash and smeared it with cream cheese, threw some king crab on it and some green hot sauce and nuked it. Then I rolled it up and ate it. I actually had a total of about 21 carbs for the day when all was said and done so it doesn't feel like a cheat. I did not get kicked out of ketosis. But still I am not at that rung yet. I had vegi soup for lunch and quiche (with ham,spinach & zuchini) for breakfast.

          Thanks, Julie! I'm not beating myself up so much over the whole cheat thing...I just realized something about myself that I never really realized before - How emotionally I always ate. This weekend I had an elephant sized load of stress dropped on me and I went for the easy food. Today I feel like crap - headache (even though I have plenty of water in me), drowsy (even though I have plenty of rest), grumpy (no excuse except that I'm back at work and the kids are NUTS).
          To be honest, the stress is one of those kinds of stresses that will eventually be a very good thing, but that sneaks up on you and causes more stress the more you think about it....but you HAVE to think about it. Confusing? Exactly my point!

          But thank you for the pep talk...I will stay on plan and next week, when I win my $220, I will feel much better!

            Hi everyone - late in checking in (3:30pm here)

            Had a good weekend with weight steady at 204. I think that means I'm still neck-and-neck with Julie and Steady!! Or did I read somewhere that one of them was at 203?! Tomorrow is my official weigh-in (for the Biggest Loser Challenge) and I'm hoping for 1 more pound off to make 2 for the week. Fingers crossed!

            I'm at 81 days cheat freen and feeling great about it!!

            Had a busy weekend - working on some great projects for one of my clients and having a blast! I really, really want this business to make it off the ground so that I can quit my day job - I'm hating it!! (as I sit here writing to all of you rather then doing the work I need to do!)

            Okay - back to the grind...

              Here are the new posts! I've been so busy wading through posts from 2005, (still good) that I didn't realize people are still active! That's good to know because I hope to be checking in regularly. I started last Monday and at one point dropped 4 pounds. Then up three and back down. I'm not going to weigh again until next Monday morning when my 14 days are up.

              I cheated yesterday and had 3 prunes thinking a blast of sugar would aleve my horrible migraine. Dizzy, upset stomach, it was horrible! Worse part was I couldn't get to sleep to escape from the pain! I hope that's the flu everyone talks about and I hope it's over!

              I'll be looking forward to getting to know "the regulars" as I plan to be one!

                Hey all, checking in really late. I worked a twelve hour day today with a 45 minute commute to get home. Im totally exhausted. I had the most terrible thing happen at work today. I was walking a clients dog outside to go potty and he slipped his leash and took off on me. I dont think Ive ever been so scared in my entire life. I got him back after chasing him around for about an hour. One good thing did come out of it though, I realized that Im capable of sprinting REALLY REALLY FAST. Adrenaline probably had something to do with it too. I truly hope I never have to deal with that situation ever again. Anyway, I think all that running after the dog counted as my exercise for the day! Hope everyone had a great day!
