    Guys! Im finally up early enough to check in BEFORE I go to work and nobody started a thread yet! Slackers! lol.

    Nothing special going on for me today except a ten hour shift and crappy rainy weather. I have my bottles of water all ready to go, and leftover stuffed pepper for lunch. yum.

    Good morning all! Rainy here, too, in North Georgia. I love it except for all that red clay on everything. We don't buy white shoes anymore. And I refuse to drive my new car in the driveway.

    but anyway, I think I'm going to try some of TJs cheese crust pizza tonight. Although in that thread, the pics aren't showing up. If I pm you my email address, will you send them to me and show me how its supposed to look?

      No problem with the pics Kelly, I'd be glad to. I'll send them when I get home (around 5:30). I had to delete the pics because I wasn't a supporting member at the time and needed to post other pics.

      Happy Hump Day everyone. I seem to have caught the flu. I blame Julie for spreading her virus over the internet.

      So far I am 3 days into the creatine supplementing and have had no weight gain. I was expecting some, so this has been a pleasant surprise. I haven't been lifting as much due to Julie's plague and my hectic schedule though. I should be back on the horse tonight, no soccer or baseball for the kids.

                  Good Morning... I have already been to water aerobics this morning.. My legs feel like jello... I have a job interview at 1 and then going to a soccer game at 4:30 if it isn't pouring down raining... My daughters boyfriend is the one that plays soccer and last week I sat in the pouring down rain and watched him..but he has a sprained ankle so since he won't be playing I won't be sitting there...lol

                    Morning all! I'm up early today but did not workout. I'm a tiny bit sore from yesterdays workout and last nights massage...honestly, I think it was more the massage...she dug in deep!

                    Food wise I'm doing awesome. Plan for today is the finish off that squash and meat sauce for lunch, probably a small breakfast (bacon or something) and then it's Outback for dinner. Haven't decided exactly what to get yet but have been looking over the menu.

                    My mood is great...and aside from being sore, feel generally really good. I think I can see a difference...at least in my face. I'm feeling pretty again...can only get better from here, right?

                    Successfully did Atkins in 1998 using 1992 copy of the book...before it was "hip". Lost 60lbs, exercised daily, felt and looked great. And then I moved in with a junk-food loving man, my mom got sick and passed away, then I suffered a spinal cord injury, and junk-food dude left me...and now I weigh 292lbs. That's 22lbs MORE than I weighed the first time around. It's 10 years later...I know this will work for me again.

                      Good morning everyone! It basically looks like a Charles Dickens novel outside right now - dreary, bleak, blah. I can't wait to use my Wii Fit tonight! I'm getting over my cold (I think), which is very appreciated. Be good today, everybody!

                        Good morning (for another 11 minutes) all!

                        So I stepped on the scale again after an awful weekend full of cheats, and guess what?! I finally broke through the 284 barrier and weighed in this morning at 283.2. A 2 pound plus loss since yesterday. I've increased my water and done a very strict induction...with the addition of about 1/2 cup of walnuts (I know, I know...it's not induction if I have walnuts).

                        I've also started taking Acai Berry extract. The research on this stuff is amazing, and it does make you feel good. Each capsule has <1 carb, so I count in 2 carbs for the two pills I take each day. I'm not doing it so much for the weight loss as for the antioxidant effects, but I'll take what I can.

                        Seriously, check out some of the research...especially on bone cancer cells. Pretty interesting stuff!

                          Good morning everyone.

                          Today is the first day of my second week of induction. I guess I have to decide soon if I'm going to extend induction or move to OWL next week. My hubby will be moving up, but I have more to lose than he does... We'll see.

                          No scale today because it is tape measure day. I'm down one inch in my waist and hips, plus a little in my neck and arms. Pretty good.

                          Got my supplement order yesterday and have set out the schedules for both of us.
                          Adding some psyllium husks fiber capsules. It's new for me and I'm hoping it will help my regularity. Which isn't so regular anymore after a week of induction. LOL

                          My goal is to keep my water intake up today, I slacked off yesterday, and I swear I can feel the difference.

                          Where are all these recipes I keep reading about? Cheese crust pizza? What's that all about?

                            Grrrr. After 9 days I caved. I stopped at the store to pick up some ketostix I keep hearing about and going to pay for them I passed Atkins bars! I had 1 and a half (I was starving and it was past dinner time). I still didn't eat them until after I had used the stix to see that I was indeed losing ketones. Infact I was the next to darkest purple. Well, this morning I am all the way on teh other side! I'm so mad at myself, but now I know I can't use the bars.

                            Can anyone tell me how long it will take to get back in the purple? I want to get there and not come back out for a few weeks.

                              Just a quick checkin, my computer was acting up at home this morning. Doing good today, just had lunch with my daughter at the cafeteria: pan-grilled fish, green beans and a salad. Hitting the water hard this afternoon. It's day 3 of being back on plan after vacation, and it's getting better. Supposed to pour rain again this afternoon, don't know if I will be able to walk or not - I sure hope so!!
