I think I got over the Alaska flu also. I was able to find time for an hour and a half in the gym tonight. I doubled up with chest and abs. I'm afraid to step on the scale due to water retention. I feel all puffy because of the creatine. I finally finished the 5 day loading phase, but this is the first day I've been able to work out. I really do feel a difference. I've used it in the past and it has always led to big gains in the gym, but I've never used it and weighed in every day. If I gain too much I'll ditch it. All of this is coupled with a week off of my 3 day a week cardio classes. I've had duty this week, so no time to PT. I'll try to catch up this weekend.
I'm doing ribeyes for dinner tomorrow night. All of this talk this week about good steaks got me craving one or six.

"...Health and fitness are more than just personal goals - they're gifts we give to the people around us. Being fit and feeling on top of our game will ensure that we're there for the people who rely on us. It will make us better fathers, husbands, friends, lovers... and yes, even better sons." -David Zinczenko -Mens Health Magazine 39M/Married with two wonderful kids
