Successfully did Atkins in 1998 using 1992 copy of the book...before it was "hip". Lost 60lbs, exercised daily, felt and looked great. And then I moved in with a junk-food loving man, my mom got sick and passed away, then I suffered a spinal cord injury, and junk-food dude left me...and now I weigh 292lbs. That's 22lbs MORE than I weighed the first time around. It's 10 years later...I know this will work for me again.
Been a few days since I checked in...I won my competition (biggest loser) last Thursday, and totally fell off the wagon. Luckily I got terribly sick after eating a slice of pizza and spent the weekend miserable and recovering. My eating hasn't been on plan, and I'm working now on day 3 trying to get back into ketosis. I've maintained my weight, but my goal is not to maintain, it is to LOSE. So naturally I have induction flulike symptoms today, but they'll pass and I know I'll feel great tomorrow morning. Spring break starts for me on Friday...it can't come fast enough.
Good day to all!

I am still sick. Geeze, it will be 2 weeks on friday. I guess I should have gotten the flue shot I hadn't been sick like this for a few years. Oh well.
My attitude is still good. Eating on plan. drinnking my water. Today I am meeting my new partner at a deli for a working lunch. I will order a chef salad with ranch dressing.
I plan on walking at the park today with my GSD Havok again. He needs the running and training before and after and I get the fresh air. It is suppose to warm up later. It was 8' this am.
Have a great day.

Congrats on the win.
Live and learn. This WOL is great.
Can you remember how you felt for the weekend. Eating the junk food makes me feel bloated, slow, tired and all over crappy.
