    Good morning y'all. looking forward to a steamy day in North Georgia. Going for a ride on my motorcycle and looking forward to a PURPLE day 4.

    Good Morning,

    I didn't check in yesterday because I was really sick. I'm not someone who gets sick very often or easily so it sort of came out of the blue. Wednesday night after an induction friendly dinner I was immediately sick and it continued through yesterday. By last night I knew I needed to try to keep something down and didn't imagine that meat, cheese or veggies were going to work. I tried chicken broth and it wasn't filling that void in my stomach. So I ended up checking out of plan for the evening but am back on this morning and will drink lots of water. I'm still feeling kind of "punky" but will stay on plan. I will check the ketosticks the starting tomorrow to see how quickly I can get back into ketosis.

    I already decided I would start again today for another 14 days because I am a bit of a perfectionist and I messed up on Day 5.

    Rajenk - I read your post from yesterday and that is such a bummer! I hope you find another trainer option so you don't have to play with Barbie any more

      Good Morning All! It's day 12 for me and as silly as it seems I am feeling thinner! I can't wait for Monday cause then I'll check and see my total weight loss and inches loss! I have already be pulling up my work pants all day! Wow What a great feeling!

                Day 5 of induction. In ketosis this morning. I was up 2 lbs from yesterday, but I had a lot of sodium yesterday.

                I am head to the ozarks here in about 2 hours for the weekend. I plan on eating atkins, but I will have to partake in some low carb beverages.

                  Morning all!
                  I went back to work yesterday after a 2 week vacation. They had a giant birthday cake for me and the girl who brought it was so sweet and excited to surprise me, that I just said to myself 'there's no way I can tell her I'm on Atkins' so had a small piece and vowed to not let it start a downward slide. Dinner brought me back to plan with a salad and chicken. I had a headache pretty bad after that cake too. That was it though, my last cheat ever. Scale is up a lb.

                  Eating my two scrambled eggs with cheese for breaky and getting ready to walk and drink water water water, take my suppliments, clean house and get ready for work again.

                  I'm calling today day 1 again due to yesterdays' foul up.

                    Happy Friday STAC'ers

                    I had a great day yesterday! I got a lot accomplished and I stayed on plan 100%- whew! I was scared that I was loosing conrtol

                    Today should be easier- I am prepared for battle.

                    I just found out that my daughter can go on my fishing trip with me, now hubby is trying to figure out how he can come and hang out at the "beach" for the day while we are out on the boat..... I got to try and find a cabin now. Nothing like waiting till the last minute.

                      Congrats on onederland, burnfat and on the vacation J.
                      And I guess uncongrats on the bimbo trainer. I lied to my physical therapist about my diet just to avoid the argument. She's supposed to be helping me with achilles tendonitis. I'll worry about my diet.
                      Anyway, today is day 19 for me, and it's the first day I've truly felt like this is a lifestyle and not a diet. I didn't stress about food wondering what to take to work or eat for breakfast, I just had things on plan and avoided things that weren't. Good feeling.
                      Oh, and I'm wearing brown pin striped pants from mini-goal 3. Although, I don't think I'll call it goal accomplished until they're really loose and comfy. Right now they fit about right. Maybe tight in the thighs. But a month ago, I could barely get them over my behind.

                        Hello all!

                        Im on day 9 of induction, and im feeling great! No cravings, makes it easy to stick to plan and im looking forward to next wednesday when i will weigh and re-measure myself to see if my hard work (if u can call it that!!) paid off.

                            Happy Friday everyone! Haven't been posting as usual because daughter #3 had her wisdom teeth out this week. I think she is doing very well today so I have a little bit more time to myself. She has been a trooper! I am on plan and down a pound inching ever closer to that goal. It definably goes slower the closer I get. I am enjoying those 5 more carbs of veggies and have added some almonds too. Thank goodness for Atkins and all of you.                               Burn Fat---Purple is my favorite color. Actually, I feel so much better when I'm in ketosis but it doesn't always mean that I'm losing weight. Weird, huh?

                              dthomps--I'm with you about staying on plan. If I have a plan, I do well. If I don't and I'm just winging it, well, that's not so good.
