Hi Everyone,
I am back after a long "break" that included gaining about 12lbs. I still have a lot to lose and I figured this group would be the best place for me to link with others who have been there and done that. I have been on induction for about a week now and lost 6 lbs. I intend to stay on Induction until Thanksgiving before moving on to OWL 1.
The last time I was focused on Atkins, I lost 20+ lbs and I still really have no idea why I discontinued this WOE. I am much more aware of my thought processes now and I believe I have learned a lot for my past experiences on Atkins. (One lesson has been that OWL 1 is not a sugar rung and in fact there is not a sugar rung at all. (
Just kidding -of course!) But I do not think I understood the Atkins lifestyle as well on other attempts. I am going to allow myself to make some mistakes and forgive myself this time around instead of declaring myself a total failure if I accidentally eat something I shouldn't like when I ate sugar bacon last time. Because, really, I have the rest of my life to eat this way so eventually I should be able to work out the snags and this WOE will feel completely normal.
