    Hi Everyone,
    I am back after a long "break" that included gaining about 12lbs. I still have a lot to lose and I figured this group would be the best place for me to link with others who have been there and done that. I have been on induction for about a week now and lost 6 lbs. I intend to stay on Induction until Thanksgiving before moving on to OWL 1.
    The last time I was focused on Atkins, I lost 20+ lbs and I still really have no idea why I discontinued this WOE. I am much more aware of my thought processes now and I believe I have learned a lot for my past experiences on Atkins. (One lesson has been that OWL 1 is not a sugar rung and in fact there is not a sugar rung at all. ( Just kidding -of course!) But I do not think I understood the Atkins lifestyle as well on other attempts. I am going to allow myself to make some mistakes and forgive myself this time around instead of declaring myself a total failure if I accidentally eat something I shouldn't like when I ate sugar bacon last time. Because, really, I have the rest of my life to eat this way so eventually I should be able to work out the snags and this WOE will feel completely normal.
    Anyways, Thanks for reading my ramblings. I am glad to be here and look forward to going on this journey with you!

    hey BabyFat - glad you joined us. Good attitude, get past those 'mistakes' and move on as quick as possible. Try to learn from them, write down how and why it happened - and you may soon find some answers.

    I had a big 'mistake' this weekend and am certainly paying for it. Did so well for such a long time, then just a day long meltdown. But that's over and I'm moving on - more motivation and determination. Up to 232 today, angry, but sometimes that emotion is a good thing. I plan to have a perfect eating day, drink extra water and work out when I get home! Happy day to all.

      Doing good 217.6 this morning. Thats 3lbs in one day, and I feel a ton better.

          Babyfat, It sounds like you have given alot of thought into what happened, and good job in joining a great group of folks for support. You can do it.

          Barrnone, You are right that anger can sometimes be a good thing. When I have felt like caving, I have been pulling up my anger to mentally "yell" at those insidious temptations. They are hateful aren't they? But good job on getting back on track.

          GXI247 - Congratulations in your 3 lb loss Outstanding!

          And of course, Jenileigh.... you and I are on track which is huge, right?

            Still stuck at the same weight,oh well its TOM aswell.Baby is ill all my energy is used up by him as he constantly wants ME!

              Barnone- Hang in there, getting right back on plan after a slip has got to be the key to success, because every other time..... (well we all know what the alternative is)

              GXI- Glad you're back on track, how's the newlywed life?

              Jenileigh- Sending low weigh-in vibes for you on Fri!

              Kntrylady- glad you are on track, sometimes having nothing much to report is the best thing

              Sham- Sorry you are stuck for the moment, but it is probably TOM playing tricks on you. Wasn't it you that was getting a follow up on some abnormal blood work last week? Did you find anything out? Is everything good? Sending you my best wishes!

              As for me, still up a pound from my blunder over the weekend, but I have 2 perfect days down. Going to give blood tomorrow, does it count if I weigh less afterwards?
              1st Goal ~ 199 Onderland -Met 3/29/10
              2nd Goal ~ 174 No longer obese
              3rd Goal ~ 150 In the home stretch
              Final Goal ~ 145 or below (I'll know when I get there) No longer overweight
