  • STAC Rollcall ~ Tuesday 12/22/2009

Morning all Tuesday before xmas and I have so much to do...such a procrastinator. Will make lists while at work today and hit the stores after work. Hopefully will get the majority done; then tomorrow can be the last minute stuff.

Yesterday was a bust. Angry at myself for letting those cookies get the best of me, but it's over. I will not touch them again. Both kids will be home to collect theirs and I will give the rest away.

Brought lots of veggies to work today and will drink a ton of water. Wearing my pedometer, so will concentrate on lots of walking.

    Happy Tuesday All!

Cookies? It's in the past...forget about it! Today is what you need to focus on! It is very trying around this time of year..there is FOOD everywhere..and most of it we can't have..I was always the one making those homemade desserts..cakes, cookies, fudge, pies etc....(and I don't even REALLY have a sweet tooth!) but I haven't much this year..I did show great restraint making 3 pumpkin rolls!!! I barely dabbed at the filling to make sure I had enuff powdered sugar in it.. I WAS PROUD! So, hang in there and don't let the guilt get to you..it is over, done and forgotten! Have an awesome...Low Carb DAY!

Braving making brownies for gifts tomorrow for everyone.. but today I'm safe

I've been gaining even tho I'm in ketosis and it's making me angry to say the least...
I've never gained doing this WOE before... not two days in a row like this... I'm thinking it's because I quit smoking a few days ago?? idk...

Here on on plan. Stay strong barrnone. You can do it!

I have resolved to not fail on Christmas, and I'm formulating a plan for it.

Plsmachic, do you lift weights? That might do it. Also your weight will fluctuate day to day, I try to only weigh once a week. Stay strong, results will come!

Hi Everyone ! Started snowing about an hour ago, so now I'm inside for the day. Everything is going well and I'm on track.

Barrnone, I agree with the others, It's over, it's done, and you just have to move on. Good plan with veggies and the water.

            Fat2Thin.... Good restraint

plsmachic... Congratulations on quitting smoking !! You know that you will experience some hormonal changes along with quitting, that may change your weight loss temporarily. But if you keep on track, do what you need to do and up your water (I know ) it will all work out. I'd ditch the scale for a couple of weeks and just be true to yourself about the eating for now...

Sham.... are you letting yourself have those cheat days since your are so close to goal? I'm sure after reading so many of your posts that you are giving this alot of thought. Self-sabotage along with fear of succeeding comes to mind??? You can do it friend, I know you can.

Rayjax... good job on the plan. If we all "decide" and make a plan we can ALL do this

Hey all. I'm here and back on track. I couldn't help it, I had to have some eggnog so I've been off the proverbial bandwagon for a few days.
male/35/295/250/175? Weight loss is no longer my primary goal. Getting to the point where I no longer feel like h-e-doublehockeysticks is!

I'm here back on plan, had a few (well maybe more than a few) beers on Sunday night and have been kicking myself in the arse ever since. But I've been back on plan since Monday morning. Its late, so I don't know how many will see this, but just wanted to say congrats to those that are back on plan and doing welll and a special congrats to Plsmachic for quitting smoking, its definately worth the tradeoff even if it slows you down or backs you up just a bit. I hope to be joining you soon!

Plsmachic, I used to smoke too and I will tell you from experience that you will gain some weight..it's mainly water weight..smoking takes out A LOT of h2o! I read somewhere once that you can gain up to 8 lbs of water-weight-gain..in the weeks following quiting! Just up your water intake to help flush it out and remember the trade off is soooo much healthier and honestly you will absolutely feel sooo much better. Congrats too! It's hard stopping several things at once for sure!
