      If it were me... I'd do the chicken broth, and just cook some broccoli or cauliflower and some celery in there - nice and smooth if you overcook it, and good stuff for when you're sick!

          Day 6 in the books. Feel good except for a headache, not too bad just annoying. Day 2 of exercising, BOY AM I OUT OF SHAPE!!

            I was in your shoes a few days ago. What I would do is use scallions, and spinach in a chicken broth. I lucked out and made some baked chicken a day before so I dropped that in the broth with the scallions and spinach and it was good and I slurped it right down!

              Yes, I am here, yes I am on plan and yes I will continue to check in every day even if the darned scale is being stubborn. Hope you all had a good day!

It is almost 8 pm here in Alaska though! rofl I suppose everyone else is sleeping? hehe I bought some better foods tonight at the store...some steaks were on sale and so was the chicken breast! I am cooking extra each time so I have some to store away for quick meals. I also bought some veggies but they didn't have Jicama this time which is my favorite potato/apple replacer, so I bought some turnips. Have a good sleep everyone.

                      Hello everyone It is Wed here in Oz & 7.15PM. Bit late checking in but have been out & about most of the day & have just sat down. Well I have been going ok Had a couple of problems with my sugar levels dropping very low (Type 2 Diabetic) I have cut my meds back as I did last time but when I have a bad low like I did yesterday I need carbs to get me back up. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do when that happens. At the moment I just have some jelly beans or orange juice which is not what I want to do but it is really important to get them up.
                      Apart from that I am going great. Hopefully dropping my meds down might work out ok. I know last time I was doing Atkins I was able to get off my insulin injection so hope this time I can get off my meds as well. Might post over in Diabetic forum & see what everyone else does.

                        I know this is late, but I would first check with the diabetic board to see if they have any ideas. Personally, I would look for the lowest carb sweet thing like strawberries or something??? I am not sure and wouldn't want to lead you astray. Typically diabetes gets more under control on this wol so am not sure. I am just borderline diabetic (last checked) and the doctor actually recommended atkins to me to help me keep from getting it full blown. Best of luck to you. I hope you see this.~
