    Yes, you should be spreading them throughout the day, to avoid blood sugar spikes.

    You don't write amounts, but are over half of your daily net carbs coming from vegetables?

    Did you check your vitamin and mineral intakes in FitDay to see if you're making good food choices?

    Avocados are fine, but they are limited to 1/2 a small one (Hass) per day.

    Also... it does not count as a vegetable. It's a fruit.

      For lunch, you could have some cooked vegetables or make a salad with veggies, some cheese, meat, avocado, olive oil, lemon juice and fresh herbs (e.g., parsley, mint).

        My carbs are most definiately coming from the veggies. With the exception of approx 4 oz of cheese per day, I'm not eating any other carbs that I am aware of. Honestly though, I've been short on carbs many days. Working on it...

        Thanks for the reminder on the avocado's ~ I thought it was a quarter of one per day. Lucky me!

        I've bookmarked Linda's Recipe site. I'll be going there often.

        I just had a half of a serving of MUP. Put the other half in the fridge for tomorrow. Didn't want to use all my carbs up in one sitting. First time I've had any Spenda this month. BTW, does a packet equal a drop? I can't find liquid Splenda (been to two stores), but have plenty of packets from my coffee drinking days.

            I'm feeling good and doing great.

            Dropped another 3 Lbs this week.

            That's a 17 Lb total for the month of January.

                I'm not sure if I should move to Rung two or stay her for another week or so.

                  I made them and brought them to my work party yesterday. We ate them then and today. and ooooh my co workers are so jealous I can eat like this and LOSE WEIGHT. that was an awesome recipe!

                    Down another 3 Lbs today!!!

                    Moving up to Ring 2 today.

                    Feeling good. If I only were excercising more ~ I can only imaging how much more I'd be down. This weeks goal is to get on the bike every day.

                        I'm down another four pounds since my last post here (I think). I was only down one last week, but three more this week. This seems to be a trend for me. I'm not sure why, but I feel good and things are going well, so I'll just keep on keeping on.

                        I am down 30 pounds since the first of the year.

                            Yesterday I moved to Rung 4, although I didn't eat any berries. They are in season here (strawberries) so I better go hit a local stand and grab some. The kids will like 'em too.

                            I am down 35 Lbs since the beginning of the year. I am still having a lot of pain and discomfort from arthritis that I had hoped would get better. I still have aways to go, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. The NSAID are also creating havoc on my GI system so my Dr changed my meds. Hopefully coupled with pepcid I'll get better because my water intake has suffered.

                            On a side note, I wonder if this thread should be moved to the Journal section, as that is what it has become....

                              I took my GF to Las Vegas for the weekend and fell off the plan. I had said that I would eat whatever I wanted (because I wanted to stay on plan) and did fairly well at first, but things went down hill fast on day two. By Sunday I was out of control.

                              I don't feel bad psycologically, but physically is another thing altogether.

                              Nothing to do but get up, brush myself off and start again.

                              Gonna bite losing these five pounds again.

                                I believe those 5lbs will come off quickly if you eat 100% on plan and drink lots of water. Most of the time it's sodium and water weight. It's great your motivated and know what to do. Keep us posted. I love your positive attitude. God Bless
