I made mine like a regular plate and was SO full at the end, I felt like I cheated but didn't! have a great day all!
Good Morning Everyone!!! I am here and happy so far! But the real test is coming home today! My husband is coming back from his job on the North Slope (top of Alaska) and he is usually full of temptations! rofl I can do this though...I just gotta be tough about it! saying to self *be tough, be tough*

I LOVE fajitas!!! I always make my own by using the ground cumin seasoning and taking a huge chuck steak/roast and grilling it on the grill! Then I saute the onions and bell peppers with cumin and a bit of medium green chili or jalapeno pepper sauce (not much). Then when the meat is done, I slice it thinly and toss it with the pepper mixture. I eat it like a salad too, with sour cream, a bit of cheese and some avocado slices! YUM!!!

It's also what I order at mexican restaurants or at Chili's restaurant. I always tell them to keep the tortilla's or give them to my hubby. I eat it like a huge salad! Very yummo!

So anyhow, tonight I have to head into Anchorage (hours drive) and pick up my husband in our 55 mph wind gusts!!! (its 20'F right now but windchill is much colder!) And then we are heading to watch Avatar at the theater (second time) and I am going to get a diet coke, dill pickle and if that doesn't keep me off the popcorn, I will send for a bunless hotdog! rofl

Then we are heading to one of my favorite seafood places called SeaGalley which actually has an atkins menu! Now if I can just leave my husbands breaded calamari alone, all will be good! rofl I will try to remember to get tons of water in today to help with some of the sodium intake that I am sure to get.

Have an awesome day today folks!!! Be happy!

Re: Sunday Jan 10 Roll Call

hey everyone, I am posting late.... also had a couple of drinks of diet coke and rum... but stayed away from the cheesesteaks, frys, breaded veggys and desserts. I hope I lose something this week, I will have to retake my measurements my jeans are looser... hope everyone had a great day... I was on a italian salad kick last week everything you would have in a hoagie minus the roll...........also made tuna with mayo over broken pork rinds with swiss cheese melted on top...added seasonings to the tuna...it was pretty good....salmon grilled with butter and garlic was nice as well...

I stayed on plan all day! I am proud of myself!!! We went to the movies and ate out twice!! I had a salad the first time with chicken and ranch, and I had pepperoni and cheese for snacks at the movie, then I had salad and a fish and vegie saute at the other.
